The paper presents the example of assessment of quality management system based on ISO 9001 in one of the biggest polish construction companies - ERBUD SA with conclusions from the poll carried out among management staff of this company. In particular the attention has been devoted to investigate, whether according to management staff opinion the quality management system benefits to the company, with advantages indicated in literature of the problem.
The author presents a methodology of self-evaluation of an organisation that meets the ISO 10014 requirements. She discusses the probability of ISO solutions allowing to determine the impact of the quality management system development level (expressed in terms of the system maturity) upon the organisation's profitability.
