W artykule dokonano próby oszacowania ryzyka operacyjnego w transporcie morskim ładunków. W tym kontekście omówiono istotę morskiego transportu ładunków, scharakteryzowano cztery podstawowe obszary ryzyka operacyjnego oraz przeprowadzono jego ocenę. Obejmowała ona identyfikację ryzyka i analizę potencjalnych zagrożeń, ocenę ilościową i jakościową oraz zaproponowanie sposobów minimalizowania przedmiotowego ryzyka.

Celem artykułu jest analiza zasad i wyników oceny okresowej nauczycieli akademickich na przykładzie Politechniki Śląskiej. Artykuł został podzielony na 4 rozdziały. W pierwszym z nich opisano zasady oceny nauczycieli akademickich przed 2012 roku. Drugi rozdział koncentruje się na przedstawieniu sparametryzowanych kryteriów oceny pracowników po 2012 roku. W rozdziale 3 posłużono się zebranymi w 2015 roku danymi, które wykorzystano w procesie opracowania wyników za pomocą podstawowych statystyk, podsumowujących przeprowadzoną ocenę okresową. W ostatnim rozdziale przeprowadzono porównanie oceny jakościowej i ilościowej pracowników naukowych w Politechnice Śląskiej.

The objective of the article is to analyze the principles and the results of the interim evaluation of academic teachers for example of the Silesian University of Technology. Article has been divided into 4 chapters. The first of these describes the principles for the evaluation of university teachers before 2012. The second chapter focuses on the presentation of parameterized evaluation criteria after 2012. In Chapter 3 the authors used data collected in 2015 to present the results of evaluation. They present main descriptive statistics, summarizing taken consideration and research. In the last chapter the comparative analysis between internal units of examined faculty is establish.

The aim of research was to examine the effect of convective-intermittent drying assisted with microwaves and ultrasound on drying kinetics, energy consumption and quality of apricots. Fruit were dried in the innovative laboratory hybrid dryer equipped with magnetron and ultrasound generator. The drying and temperature curves, total and specific energy consumption as well as the changes of total color, water activity and rehydration ratio were examined. It was proved that hybrid-intermittent drying reduces the total drying time and energy consumption, and improves the quality of dried product.

Celem badań była analiza wpływu niestacjonarnego suszenia konwekcyjnego z mikrofalami i ultradźwiękami na kinetykę procesu, zużycie energii i cechy jakościowe moreli. Testy suszenia przeprowadzono w innowacyjnej laboratoryjnej suszarce hybrydowej wyposażonej w magnetron i generator ultradźwięków. Zaprezentowano krzywe suszenia, krzywe temperaturowe, zużycie energii, całkowitą zmianę barwy, aktywność wody oraz współczynnik rehydratacji. Dowiedziono, iż hybrydowe suszenie niestacjonarne skraca czas suszenia, redukuje zużycie energii oraz pozytywnie wpływa na wyróżniki jakości suszonych moreli.

Przedstawiono metodę skwantyfikowanej oceny kryterialnej płynów do ręcznego mycia naczyń, za pomocą której można wyrazić atrakcyjność rynkową analizowanego produktu. Zaproponowany liczbowy współczynnik atrakcyjności rynkowej (WAR) łączy kryteria jakościowe (wynik testu talerzowego oraz zdolności emulgowania tłuszczów) z aspektami ekonomicznymi, tj. zawartością suchej substancji jako wskaźnika kosztu produkcji oraz ceny sprzedaży jako czynnika istotnego dla klienta. Parametry te są możliwe do pozyskania bez konieczności kontaktu z producentem i stanowią wygodne narzędzie oceny marketingowej i/lub konsumenckiej. Zastosowana metoda jest elastyczna i ma cechy uniwersalne. Po odpowiednim doborze kryteriów może być również wykorzystana do oceny produktowej w innych sektorach rynkowych.

Fifteen com. liqs. for hand dishwashing were studied for the ability of fat emulsification and disc tests used as quality criteria of examd. liqs. In addn., dry matter content in the liqs. was detd. as an indicator of prodn. costs and the selling prices. The numerical values obtained for each liq. were summed and normalized setting percentage participation for all criteria. The presented method allows a comparative anal. of liqs. by using a single parameter defined as a coeff. of market attractiveness.

Rozważania w niniejszym opracowaniu dotyczą problematyki oceny, analizy i zapewnienia odpowiedniej jakości działania systemów transportowych. Zidentyfikowano obiekt badań, którym jest rzeczywisty system transportu miejskiego. Zdefiniowano pojęcie jakości działania systemu, zaprezentowano schemat modelu ocenowego oraz opisano proces losowy, na podstawie którego dokonuje się jego oceny. W wyniku zrealizowanych badań eksploatacyjnych, wyróżniono cztery stany jakościowe działania systemu, odwzorowujących przedziały wartości otrzymanych ocen w danych chwilach czasu. W pracy rozważa się model zmian stanów jakościowych działania systemu oparty o łańcuch Markowa, włożony w pewien proces semi- Markowa. Zbudowano graf oraz macierz prawdopodobieństw przejść między stanami i na podstawie danych eksploatacyjnych, wyznaczono rozkłady graniczne dla tego procesu. Wyznaczono układ równań dla włożonego łańcucha Markowa, na podstawie którego zbudowany zostanie matematyczny model oceny i sterowania jakością działania wybranych typów systemów transportowych.

The study deals with the problems connected with evaluation and analysis of transportation systems operation in order to provide them with appropriate operation quality. The research object has been identified as a real municipal transportation system. The notion of the system operation quality has been defined, a scheme of an assessment model and the random process on the basis of which the assessment is performed have been presented. In result of experimental tests, there have been presented four qualitative states of the system operation, reflecting the intervals of values and notes received in given time moments. A model of a system operation qualitative state changes, based on Markov chain, has been considered in this paper. A system of equations has been determined for a distinguished Markov chain on the basis of which a mathematical model for assessment and control of selected types of transportation systems will be developed.

The article below covers problems associated with water resources in Byelorussian Polessie. Qualitative and quantitative evaluations of surface waters of the major streams in the region are proposed. Also, possible consequences of river run-offs due to climate changes are discussed. Immediate challenges facing those researchers who deal with water problems of Polessie are outlined.

W artykule przedstawiono analizę problemów związanych z wodnymi zasobami Białoruskiego Polesia. Przeprowadzono ilościową i jakościową ocenę wód powierzchniowych głównych rzek regionu. Rozpatrzono możliwe skutki zmian rzecznych spływów w wyniku zmiany klimatu i ich wpływ na środowisko rolnicze. Określono główne cele badań prowadzących do rozwiązania wodnych problemów Polesia.

W artykule opisano jakościowe i ilościowe metody oceny napowietrzenia betonu, tak zawarte w normach jak i nieznormalizowane. Z tych ostatnich opisano badania "wskaźnika piany", "trwałości piany", "wyporu hydrostatycznego", a także podano ich zalety i wady. Poruszono także wpływ na uzyskiwane wyniki dodatku popiołów lotnych. Dużo miejsca poświęcono mikroskopowym metodom badania mikrostruktury porów. Podkreślono niedogodność związaną z brakiem normy na ten temat. Wymieniono także normy duńskie i niemieckie, a kanadyjskie pod kątem wymagań związanych z infrastrukturą drogową.

In the paper the qualitative and quantitative methods of concrete air entrainment were presented, not only these which are in standard, but also behind them. From the last ones the foam index, foam stability and the method applying buoyancy rule of particles migration were described and their drawbacks as well as the good points are given. Detailed discussion is devoted to microscopic method of pores structure determination and the drawback of standard lack is underlined. Also the Danish, German and Canadian Standard are discussed, the last one especially in the case of roads construction.

The aspect of safety has becorne one of the leading factor that detennine consumers’ choice of food. This can be attributed to an inereasing consumer awareness, formed and shaped by numerous sources that offer infonnation on the subject. That is why in food production (e.g. vegetables), more attention should be paid to quality understood in terms of safety and not only sensory attractiveness of food. Such conditions are fulftlled by Good Manufacturing Practice - GMP. The applied lettuce cultivation technology, employing different irrigation systems of (sprinkling irrigation, subsuiface irrigation, no irrigation) and fertilization (via irrigation systems or top dressing), assessed on the basis of soil evaluation can be termed GMP concept for soil cultivalion. In the context of inereasing consumer awareness vegetables that have a very short vegetation period and constitute a source of nitrates and nitrites have become particularly important. That is why quality-oriented technology of vegetables growing. Should be aimed at by vegetable producers.

Protective garments are designed to meet the dual needs of product/process protection and workers' safety and comfort. In this paper, a qualitative evaluation of woven protective fabrics has been presented. The fabric parameters which are most important from the point of view of the user's needs have been selected and analysed. Basic mechanical parameters such as breaking load, elongation at break and tear resistance were determined in certain example fabrics before and after the washing and sterilisation processes. The worker comfort was analysed by determining air and water vapour permeability and surface resistance. The barrier properties of fabrics were analysed by determining the efficiency of filtration and fabric porosity. The durability of fabrics was evaluated in respect of their ability to stand up to the washing and sterilisation processes, and of the analysis of fabric structure deformation under external loading.

This paper presents different aspects of applying decision support systems (DSS) in processes of the analysis and evaluation of an organisation performance. The analysis and evaluation of an organisation performance is based on the financial analysis and evaluation as well as SWOT evaluation. The evaluation model of an organisation performance, which consists of both models; the financial analysis and evaluation together with the SWOT ones, is shown. The improvement of an organisation performance evaluation requires the implementation of information systems, and DSS in particular. Such a system and its implementation in a given knowledge base together with the example of its application in the evaluation processes is presented. The paper indicates that DSS constitutes a useful tool supporting the organisation evaluation.
