W artykule dokonano analizy efektywności pracy wtryskarki PLASTAK HL3oR, która jest wykorzystywana do produkcji elementów obuwia wytwarzanych z tworzyw sztucznych. Wykorzystano dwie metody analityczne: analizę PAMCO oraz analizę OEE. Analizą objęto miesięczne wyniki pracy tej wtryskarki z 5 kolejnych miesięcy kalendarzowych.

The analysis of efficiency of injection molding machine PLASTAK HL3oR, which is used in production process of footwear elements made from plastics was presented in this paper. Two analytical methods were used: PAMCO and OEE analysis. The analysis includes results of work of the injection molding machine, the analysis covers the period of 5 consecutive months.

Feature selection (FS) is a significant topic for the development of efficient pattern recognition systems. FS refers to the selection of the most appropriate subset of features that describes (adequately) a given classification task. The objective of this paper is to perform a thorough analysis of the performance and efficiency of feature selection algorithms (FSAs). The analysis covers a variety of important issues with respect to the functionality of FSAs, such as: (a) their ability to identify relevant features, (b) the performance of the classification models developed on a reduced set of features, (c) the reduction in the number of features, and (d) the interactions between different FSAs with the techniques used to develop a classification model. The analysis considers a variety of FSAs and classification methods.

Content available remote Hybrid modelling and performance evaluation of switched discrete-event systems

Motivated by the integrated complexity of real-time intelligent control and optimization of industrial/manufacturing processes, this paper discusses hybrid modelling and asymptotic periodic behavior of a class of switched discrete event systems, and shows how to evaluate the asymptotic performance/efficiency of such systems. We prove that, under some mild conditions, the switched discrete event system will achieve asymptotic periodic dynamics, and its performance/efficiency can be evaluated by calculating the eigenvalue of certain matrix in max-plus algebra. Illustrative examples are provided.
