Design of multichannel readout system for spectral identification of materials

This paper addresses the work performed on development of the readout circuits for FET-based THz detectors. Ultimately, designed readout system is intended to work within the material identification equipment, which targeted to perform the spectral recognition of samples. At the beginning, the short introduction of the THz detection basics and main applications of the THz spectroscopy are presented. Next, the preceding work on single-channel readout circuit is shortly recalled, with a special emphasis on the last design version featuring selective chopper amplifier. This IC became the basis of the complete readout system addressed in next few sections of this paper. Finally, design of novel integrated circuit is presented, incorporating the multichannel readout circuit dedicated for pixel line.

New Current-mode Three-Inputs One-output Multifunction Filter with Independent Tune

In this study, a three-inputs single-output current-mode analog biquadratic filter, based on second generation current controlled current conveyor (CCCII) is presented. The proposed filter uses four CCCIIs and two grounded capacitors without any external resistors, which is well suited for integrated circuit implementation. The circuit gives five standard transfer functions, namely, lowpass, highpass, bandpass, notch and allpass filters with independent control of quality factor and pole frequency by electronic method. Each function response can be selected by suitably selecting input signals with digital method. The filter does not require double input current signal. Moreover, the circuit possess high output impedance which would be an ideal choice for current-mode cascading. The PSPICE simulation results, using CMOS CCCII in 0.25μm TSMC CMOS technology, are included to verify the workability of the proposed filter. The given results agree well with the theoretical anticipation.

Układ pozwala na realizację wszystkich rodzajów filtrów z niezależnym ustawieniem dobroci Q i częstotliwości odcięcia.

The model is proposed for forecasting good yield of microcircuit chips (IC) and the system of the quality test control of the IC technological processes. It ensures the veritable spread of the control results of the test structure parameters on the IC chips, makes it possible to perform the comprehensive quality evaluation of the individual technological fabrication operations of microcircuits, to perform optimization of the technological process and to forecast good yield of the microcircuit chips.

Celem było zapewnienie istotnego rozrzutu wyników kontroli parametrów umożliwiające ocenę jakości produkcji każdego z indywidualnych procesów technologicznych, umożliwienie optymalizacji procesu oraz prognozowanie jakości.
