The conventional RAIM based on the least square algorithm of the residuals of the snapshot data can detect the single outlier with high probability, but it can miss the multiple outliers frequently. So, it invites a serious problem of the missed detection. We must clarify this problem, and develop a method to prevent the missed detection of the multiple outliers. In the present paper, a method to detect multiple outliers more correctly is discussed, and the numerical results seem much improved and appropriate.

Velocity determinations on the basis of GPS measurements of the doppler effect

The main aim of the present studies was to assess the accuracy of velocity determination of a single GPS receiver. Velocity is determined on the basis of the Doppler shift. The single point positions, required in the model applied, are derived from code measurements. The theoretical basis of Doppler measurements, the computational model applied and the results obtained are analyzed in the paper.

Celem pracy jest estymacja dokładności wyznaczenia prędkości autonomicznego odbiornika GPS na podstawie pomiarów przesunięcia dopplerowskiego. Współrzędne anteny GPS, niezbędne w zastosowanym modelu, są obliczane na podstawie pomiarów pseudoodległości do satelitów GPS. W pracy podano podstawy teoretyczne efektu Dopplera, przedstawiono równania obserwacyjne i wynikający z nich model obliczeniowy oraz otrzymane wyniki.
