The goal of this article is to determine rational constructional and technological options for the development of underground space, in particular, the arrangement of underground parking lots under the specific hydrogeological conditions of Dnipro city. In this article, the best practices in the construction of similar facilities in the world are discussed. Arrangements for individual structural elements and structures as a whole were considered. The main resources for their implementation are determined, the most important performance indicators are calculated, their comparison is carried out and proposals for the use of individual technological concepts are developed. The experience of underground space development in Dnipro city is studied and the problems of construction of underground structures under specific difficult hydrogeological conditions are identified. The proposed technological concepts make it possible to implement such design solutions under difficult hydrogeological conditions with dense development and preservation of historical buildings in the city.

The article presents an outline of the two issues concerning geotourism in Poland: the use of underground facilities and urban geotourism. The state of geotourist use of underground objects and scope of studies on geotourism in cities have been shown. More fully have been described two projects from Lower Silesia: a proposal of an underground geotourist route in Zloty Stok and a network of urban geotourist trails in Kłodzko. It was considered advisable to widen the geotourist agendas presented in the underground tourist objects and in the papers in the field ofurban geotourism. There was highlighted the needfor stronger use of geotourism for popularizing: basic issues of geology and related sciences, practical achievements of these fields of knowledge, knowledge about the fundamental role of use of mineral resources in human life and in the development of civilization.

The study provides a systematic description of various geometries of underground structures, giving examples of traditional and computer-assisted methods used for recording the geometry of underground structures. The methods enable the reconstruction of the structures' geometry and development of detailed drawings, a prerequisite for effective revitalisation and stabilisation old underground structures. Underlying the selection of mapping method is the analysis of the current conditions on the site, definition of potential hazards and the objectives of the restructuring programme.

W artykule zdefiniowano systematykę geometrii ustrojów podziemnych oraz przedstawiono przykłady wykorzystania tradycyjnych i komputerowych metod zapisu geometrycznej struktury przestrzennej obiektów podziemnych. Zastosowane metody pozwalają na odtworzenie geometrii obiektu podziemnego oraz opracowanie szczegółowych rysunków stanowiących podstawę procesu rewitalizacji i zabezpieczania podziemnych obiektów zabytkowych.

W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono przykład podziemnego obiektu, który podlega procesom adaptacyjnym.

In conformity with the generalry recognized definition, the product of human activity, which is a testament of the bygone eras and the development of civilization, is considered to be a monument. Over time, many facilities located both on the surface and under the ground lose their function and as a result is either liquidated or given new useful functions. This article provides an example of the underground facility, which is subject to the processes of adaptation.

W niniejszym referacie przedstawiono koncepcje stworzenia i dalszego rozwoju Podziemnej Trasy Turystycznej w Bystrzycy Kłodzkiej. W Staromiejskiej Dzielnicy tego miasta występuje szereg wyrobisk o bardzo ciekawej architekturze, których połączenie daje możliwość stworzenia jednej z największej atrakcji turystycznej miasta. Omówione zostały możliwości adaptacji istniejących podziemnych obiektów kubaturowych, a także miejsca w których niezbędne wydaje się być stworzenie wyrobisk udostępniających łączących poszczególne wyrobiska. Możliwe warianty pokazano na aktualnym planie miasta oraz przedstawiono program górniczych prac badawczo-poszukiwawczych związanych z adaptacją podziemnych obiektów zabytkowych.

The paper presents concept of creation and development Underground Tourist Route in Bystrzyca Kłodzka. There were many interesting underground objects, which connecting might be create greatest tourist attraction of city. In further, presents about possibilities of adaptation existing underground objects and also spots where it seems to be necessary to create mining workings connecting certain objects. Alternative touristic routes are shown on current city plan. The work describes also the project of continuation mining research work connected with adaptation underground objects.
