W obliczu architektury awangardowej przekształconej w rzeźbę urbanistyczną, obiektu eksponowanego w publicznej przestrzeni współczesnego miasta, powinniśmy domagać się części wewnętrznej, przestrzeni, miejsca, w którym obecne jest naturalne światło, przestrzeni wnętrza. "Światło naturalne" odbieram jako tworzywo projektowe oraz treść architektury wszech czasów, dlatego to właśnie ono będzie moim przewodnikiem po kreatywnym świecie architektury.

Faced the avant-garde architecture, converted into urban sculpture, object that is exposed in the public space of the contemporary city, we should claim the inside part, the surrounding space that confine the natural light, as far as it is more essential: the place where natural light is present, the interior space. Understanding "the natural light" as the material of the project and as the content of the architecture of all time, that's why I have chose it as a guide to visit again, the creative field of architecture.

Interiors of baroque temples influence visitors in a particular, ambiguous way, bringing aesthetical sensations, but also cause philosophical and religious reflections. It is a result of shaping those spaces by the use of various and complicated architectonical methods, which were mastered in the time of the baroque. Light arrangement was one of the most important elements shaping sacral interiors. A baroque church became a connecting point of reality and supernatural. The difference between sacrum and profanum obliterates in its interior. The real space continued into "unearthly" one created by the methods of illusion. Real and introduced light connected together describe this penetration of two worlds, earth and heaven. Hidden sources of light cooperated in creation of illusion and real space, illuminate the assemble of prayers by the light coming from the firmament. Real light had to play the part of supernatural light. The knowledge of methods of shaping the space and arrangement of lighting in interiors in a significant way enriched the architect's possibilities. It allowed him to obtain defined aesthetical and program targets. The baroque period was the time when art rose to its highest limits. Therefore, it is important, while studying those historical times, to bring closer the defined means and techniques in view of their application nowadays.

Właściwe oświetlenie wnętrza wywodzi się z natury. Rytm dnia i nocy razem z porami roku tworzą zawsze zmienną 24-godzinną strukturę światła i ciemności. Na wszystkie funkcje organizmu człowieka wpływa rytm dnia i nocy. Badania wykazały, że receptory w oku człowieka nie tylko odbierają światło. Istnieją również receptory, które wywołują biologiczne efekty związane z produkcją hormonów, melatoniny i kortyzolu. Melatonina jest hormonem snu i relaksu, natomiast kortizol pobudza i aktywuje. Referat przedstawia melatoninowy aspekt oświetlenie wnętrza wynikający z nowego modelu fototransdukcji okołodobowej człowieka. Zaproponowano również animację przestrzeni biurowej przy pomocy dekoracyjnego urządzenia zawierającego niebieski LED 470 nm.

The proper interior lighting takes its lead from nature. The rhythm of day and night, together with the seasons, creates ever-changing light and dark patterns during the 24-hours. All functions in the human body are influenced by the rhythm of night and day. Research has shown that we not only have receptors in our eyes which are sensitive to the visible spectrum of light. There are also receptors of the hormones melatonin and cortisol. While malatonin makes us sleepy and relaxed, cortisol makes us feel awake and active. The paper presents the malatonin aspect of an interior lighting based on the new model phototransduction by the human circadian system. Also, there is the proposal for an animation office space by the LED 470 nm device.

Przyglądając się współczesnym trendom architektury wnętrz, nie sposób pominąć oświetlenia. Już sam dynamiczny rozwój technik świetlnych świadczy o ogromnej wadze jaką przywiązuje się do ich walorów funkcjonalnych i ergonomicznych. Tak więc nowoczesne źródła światła są nie tylko energooszczędne ale również uwzględniają wszelkie wymagania w zakresie barwy, natężenia i innych parametrów światła. Nie mniej jednak względy estetyczne i oczekiwania projektantów dotyczące aranżacji oświetlenia we wnętrzu sprawiają, że różnorodność źródeł światła stale będzie się wzbogacać.
