W artykule przedstawiono podstawowe zalecenia ochrony informacji w obiektach jądrowych.

The article presents basic indications of IT protection in nuclear facilities. Nuclear safeguard is based on coordination of multiple security systems: physical protection, identifying potential dangers and subsequent data analysis, direct IT security systems, choice and training of staff. Dynamic development of IT, soft and hardware, in particular its minutaristion enforce continual modernisation effort on part of their users.
Weather-related hazards are among the most frequent causes for disturbances of critical infrastructures. Flooding, tsunamis and sea level rise are examples of major threats to all types of nuclear facilities located at the seaside or at rivers. We report about exemplary investigations concerning weather-related hazards for the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. Climate change is expected to increase the already known threats but, in the long term, may also lead to new kinds of hazards. A possible future climate evolution, e.g. from warm (interglacial) to cold (glacial) periods, is not only a topic for seaside industrial facilities but also of concern in the long term safety assessment of deep geological nuclear waste repositories, in particular for high level waste, on the Baltic sea.
The article presents the historical background and a brief introduction to the American ASME BPVC regulations concerned with welded boilers, pressure vessels and nuclear facilities. The article presents a methodology for the design of two-shell tube welded pressure vessel (autoclave) based on ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1 regulations. Due to the lack of a computational method (calculation based on formulas) for the complete pressure vessel according to ASME Sec. VIII, Div. 1, related calculations were performed using a computational method according to ASME Sec. VIII, Div. 2 Part 5. The results of the calculations are presented in the form of tables, graphs and numerically generated visualisation.
