Purpose: The aim of the paper is to analyze the main project management standards and topics connected with quality management in projects. Design/methodology/approach: Critical literature analysis. Analysis of international literature from main databases and polish literature and legal acts connecting with researched topic. Findings: The considerations presented in the publication made it possible to analyses the most important aspects of project management in the context of quality management. The publication concentrate on problems connected with various aspects of project management. The paper says about ISO and non ISO related projects trying to characterize and compare various types of standards and approaches. There is a spatial attention towards analysis of quality management in projects. Especially problems connected with risk in process which are important part of quality management and also play important role in ISO 9001 quality management standards. Paper also contains some analysis connected with the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the project management and try to conclude main methods how to manage teams in project management in virtual environment. Originality/value: Detailed analysis of all subjects related to the problems connected with project management in the conext of standards and quality management.

Cel: Celem artykułu było uporządkowanie wiedzy normalizacyjnej w kontekście realizacji koncepcji European Green Deal. Szukano odpowiedzi na pytanie: w jakim stopniu normy ISO mogą stać się użyteczne w realizacji celów zrównoważonego rozwoju. W artykule Myślenie Cyklem Życia przyjęto za istotnie wspierające taki rozwój. Projekt badania/metodyka badawcza/koncepcja: Aby uwypuklić rolę normalizacji jako determinanty zrównoważonego rozwoju, podkreślono jej siłę poprzez zintegrowane, kompleksowe i spójne procesowe oddziaływanie. Przeprowadzono badania na podstawie krytycznej analizy literatury przedmiotu oraz oceny komparatystycznej strategii wspierających zrównoważony rozwój. Wyniki/wnioski: W wyniku przeprowadzonych analiz dostrzeżono znaczenie norm ISO w realizacji celów jakościowych koncepcji European Green Deal. Wsparcie dla tej koncepcji przez normy ISO powinno głównie dotyczyć obszarów zarządzania organizacją i aspektów życia wyrobów. Zastosowanie praktyczne: Dla realizacji celów zrównoważonego rozwoju wskazano, że norma ISO 9004:2018 stanowi cenny zestaw podstawowych zaleceń, które organizacja powinna brać pod uwagę w dążeniu do osiągnięcia trwałego sukcesu. Dostrzeżono jednak, że spowolnienie prac legislacyjnych nad realizacją koncepcji European Green Deal oraz etapów wdrożeniowych ograniczyło pole badawcze w nurcie normalizacyjnych rozwiązań. Zakładane po epidemii koronawirusowej dynamiczne przyspieszenie najprawdopodobniej będzie skutkować pełniejszym spojrzeniem na użyteczność norm ISO w synergiczności tych oddziaływań. Oryginalność/wartość poznawcza: Wnioski z badań mogą mieć znaczenie także w praktyce gospodarczej, upewniając organizację, że trwały sukces łączyć należy z koncepcją zrównoważonego rozwoju. Innowacyjność artykułu związana jest z powyżej zasygnalizowanymi aspektami oddziaływań w obszarze normalizacja – zrównoważony rozwój.

Purpose: The aim of the article was to organize the standardization knowledge in the context of the implementation of the European Green Deal concept. An answer was sought to the question: to what extent ISO standards can become useful in achieving the goals of sustainable development. In the article Thinking Life Cycle was accepted as significantly supporting such development. Design/methodology/approach: In order to emphasize the role of standardization as a determinant of sustainable development, its strength was emphasized through an integrated, comprehensive and coherent process impact. Research was conducted based on a critical analysis of the literature on the subject and a comparative evaluation of strategies supporting sustainable development. Findings/conclusions: As a result of the conducted analyzes, the importance of ISO standards in achieving the quality objectives of the European Green Deal concept was noticed. Support for this concept by ISO standards should mainly concern the areas of organization management and product life aspects. Practical implications: In order to achieve the goals of sustainable development, it was indicated that the ISO 9004: 2018 standard is a valuable set of basic recommendations that an organization should take into account in striving to achieve lasting success. However, it was noticed that the slowdown in legislative work on the implementation of the European Green Deal concept and the implementation stages limited the research field in the field of standardization solutions. The dynamic acceleration assumed after the coronavirus epidemic will most likely result in a more complete look at the usefulness of ISO standards in the synergy of these impacts. Originality/value: The conclusions from the research may also be important in economic practice, ensuring the organization that sustained success should be combined with the concept of sustainable development. The innovativeness of the article is related to the above-mentioned aspects of impacts in the area of standardization – sustainable development.

In the paper a procedure and methodology of acceptable calculations of powers, displacements (of amplitudes) and velocities of pulses according to ISO standards depending on the rotational speeds (frequencies) of rotor during attempts of dynamic breaking down taking into account effectiveness of vibration isolation were described. The proposed method is regarding one-sidedly hung rotors appearing in such appliances as rotors of fans, blowers, pumps and others. As permissible parameters of pulses values which are given in international standards PN-ISO-10816-1:1998P and PN-ISO-7919-1:2001 were assumed. Calculations were compared in the form of tables and they depicted with relevant graphs which have the character of useful nomograms. Also, recommendations for the design of the foundations and guidelines related to dimensions of the foundation, the weight and the way of fixing the device were given. In the end also closing remarks and conclusions were given.

The Measuring Instruments Directive sets down essential requirements for measuring instruments subject to legal control in the EU. It dictates that a risk assessment must be performed before such instruments are put on the market. Because of the increasing importance of software in measuring instruments, a specifically tailored software risk assessment method has been previously developed and published. Related research has been done on graphical representation of threats by attack probability trees. The final stage is to formalize the method to prove its reproducibility and resilience against the complexity of future instruments. To this end, an inter-institutional comparison of the method is currently being conducted across national metrology institutes, while the weighing equipment manufacturers' association CECIP has provided a new measuring instrument concept, as a significant example of complex instruments. Based on the results of the comparison, a template to formalize the software risk assessment method is proposed here.

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is becoming increasingly often an essential element of a strategy of modern enterprises. CSR activities include a wide range of relationships with stakeholders, that is entities who are associated with the activity of an organization or are under its influence. The natural environment is one of most important stakeholders. The CSR strategy implements the postulate of the pursuit of sustainable development, that is, the development where the economic issues are treated equally to social and environmental issues. Over the years there were taken many initiatives which were aimed at the promotion of this idea. The article discusses the selected initiatives, paying a particular attention to the elements concerning the natural environment.

W artykule omówiony został problem jakości powietrza wewnętrznego w kabinach samochodów osobowych. Problematykę przedstawiono w oparciu o dyskusję zjawisk istotnie wpływających na zanieczyszczenie powietrza wewnątrz, głównie nowych, samochodów, metod badawczych stosowanych w motoryzacji w celu oceny obecności tych zanieczyszczeń, a także wskazywania i eliminacji ich źródeł. Podkreślono istotne różnice w działaniach zmierzających do poprawy jakości powietrza we wnętrzach nowych samochodów wprowadzanych na rynek, podejmowanych przez producentów i/lub wymaganych przepisami prawnymi.

In-vehicle air quality in passengers’ cars is discussed in present paper. The discussion is based on factors influencing substantially interior air pollution in vehicles, mainly new ones, on test methods used in automotive sector for air quality assessment, and for elimination of pollution sources. Various approaches to control and to improve in-vehicle air quality was presented with regard to probable directions applied by the automotive industry.

Quality Management System consistent with the PN-EN ISO 9001:2009 standard was developed to ensure meeting customers' requirements and constant improvement in quality of products and services. The system allows for effective and efficient business to maintain market position and adjust to variable conditions in the market. This chapter contains the description of the already implemented quality management system (QMS). The system was presented with the example of the enterprise that manufactures components made of thermoplastics.

Rapid technological advances and variable conditions in the environment cause that properly functioning and improved quality management systems (QMS) in enterprises determine the competitive advantage under conditions of market economy. Currently most of the enterprises which created their own quality management systems follow the principles contained in the international standards. The most popular model of QMS is presented in the ISO 9000 family of standards. Based on the requirements contained in these standards, the system implemented was verified through getting the relevant certification, which is often the requirement of customers. The modern and comprehensive QMS represents an inseparable wholeness with the management system in an organization. It is built based on the requirements of standards and principles contained in the quality management concepts. Proper functioning of QMS, performance of tasks and reaching the goals is possible through continuous improvement that concerns all the areas of activity in the organization. This chapter provides a theoretical introduction to characterization of the quality management system in selected enterprise.

Stosunkowo duży wachlarz udogodnień i profitów wynikający z implementacji wymagań znormalizowanych systemów zarządzania jakością sprawia, że systemowe zarządzanie jakością staję się coraz bardziej popularne wśród przedsiębiorstw prowadzących działalność logistyczną. Wdrażając wymagania systemów zarządzania jakością należy wziąć pod uwagę fakt, że każda branża czy przedsiębiorstwo posiada swoją specyfikę, której ujęcie jest kluczową kwestią decydującą o prawidłowym opracowaniu dokumentacji systemowej determinującej skuteczność i efektywność wdrażanego systemu. Celem niniejszej publikacji jest zaakcentowanie i uwypuklenie obszarów logistycznych, które można udoskonalać poprzez wdrażanie wytycznych znormalizowanych systemów zarządzania jakością. The relatively large range of facilities and profits resulting from the implementation of the requirements of standardized quality management systems makes quality management system becoming more popular among enterprises active in logistics. When implementing the requirements of quality management systems it should be taken into account the fact that each industry or company has its own characteristics, the recognition is a key issue crucial for the correct development of system documentation that determines the effectiveness and efficiency of the implemented system. The purpose of this publication is emphasizing and highlighting the areas of logistics, which can improve through the implementation of the guidelines standardized quality management systems. Particular emphasis is placed on it to characterize the requirements of the quality management system according to ISO 9001 in the context of improving the supply of subsystems, production and distribution.

W artykule przedstawiono istotę pomiaru fizycznego i niezbędne słownictwo związane z przeprowadzaniem eksperymentu fizycznego. W skrócie podano według wskazań ISO procedurę określania standardowych niepewności pomiarowych pomiarów bezpośrednich i złożonych. Porównywanie wyników pomiarów przedstawiono jako uzgadnianie ich przedziałów utworzonych na podstawie niepewności standardowej rozszerzonej. Pokazane sposoby planowania pomiarów pozwalają określić, czy eksperyment można uznać za zakończony. Procedury takie umożliwiają zaplanowanie dokładniejszych pomiarów oraz są bardzo pomocne przy formułowaniu wniosków podsumowujących przeprowadzone doświadczenie.

W artykule przedstawiono najbardziej istotne, kluczowe wymagania Systemów Zarządzania Jakością wdrożenie których warunkuje racjonalne działanie każdej organizacji. Zaprezentowano typowy ujęty czasowo i problemowo proces wdrażania tych systemów w praktyce gospodarczej z uwzględnieniem właściwej kolejności działań. Określono konieczne do racjonalnego opracowania i wdrożenia etapy prac oraz wskazano na zagrożenia, jakie mogą się pojawić przy wdrożeniu, skutkujące ich złym działaniem w przyszłości. Korzystając z własnych badań i obserwacji praktyki gospodarczej, przybliżono również koszty realizacji takiego przedsięwzięcia, przyjmując jako modelowe, przedsiębiorstwo zatrudniające od 10-50 pracowników w jednej lokalizacji. W kosztach realizacji przedsięwzięcia uwzględniono często pomijane koszty pracy pracowników angażowanych z wewnątrz organizacji.

This article presents the key requirements of Quality Management Systems implementation with determination of the rational action of each organization. It contains description of a typical systems implementation in an business practice, with a logical sequence of action, in a specific period of time, including all problems. All necessities for the rational development and implementation stages of the work was presented, including all hazards that may arise during the process, that result in poor action and low efficiency in the future. Based on own research and observations of a business practice, more details of the costs of such project was proposed, taking as a reference an enterprise with 10-50 employees, all having the same location. The cost of such an assignment also contains often ignored and overlooked expenses of employees inside of the organization.

Rozdział trzeci dotyczy zasad oceny jakości danych przestrzennych. Wobec powszechnego dostępu do danych przestrzennych znajomość ich jakości staje się zagadnieniem kluczowym zarówno dla użytkowników danych, jak też instytucji je udostępniających. Jakość danych nabiera szczególnego znaczenia, gdy informacje uzyskane na ich podstawie służą do podejmowania decyzji. Wiadomo, że decyzje podejmuje się często bazując na informacjach niepewnych, jednak każdorazowo decydent musi mieć tego pełną świadomość. W procesie podejmowania decyzji ocena dokładności i wiarygodności danych (informacji) ma kluczowe znaczenie. W opracowaniu przedstawiono podstawy oceny jakości danych zgodnie z zasadami podanymi w normach ISO serii 19100 oraz ocenę zgodności danych zgromadzonych w TBD z Wytycznymi TBD, zwaną oceną jakości producenta. W zakresie oceny danych TBD przyporządkowano elementom kontroli jakości wg ISO 19113 i specyfikacji technicznych INSPIRE odpowiednie zestawy kontroli automatycznych TBD, przeprowadzonych zgodnie z wytycznymi technicznymi i koncepcją systemu kontroli TBD. Ponadto dokonano interpretacji wykrytych zdarzeń, a także przedstawiono dodatkowe procedury kontrolne, konieczne do całościowej oceny jakości zbioru zgodnie z wymaganiami przepisów implementacyjnych dyrektywy INSPIRE.

Chapter 3 refers to the principles of spatial data quality assessment. Taking into account that spatial data are generally accessable, the awareness of their quality is of key importance both for the users of these data and for the institutions making them available. Data quality is of special importance when the information obtained serves as the basis for decision making. It is well known that decisions are often taken on the basis of uncertain information, but in every case the decision maker must be fully aware of this. In the decision making process accuracy and trustworthiness of data is of key importance. The basis for data quality assessment are presented in this work in accordance with the principles contained in ISO standards series 19100 and assessment of compatibility of the data stored in TBD with TBD Guidelines, called .manufacturer.s. quality assessment. As regards assessment of TBD data, appropriate sets of automatic TBD controls conducted in accordance with technical guidelines and the concept of TBD control system were subordinated to the elements of quality control according to ISO 19113 and INSPIRE technical specification. Moreover, discovered events were interpreted and additional control procedures were presented necessary for comprehensive quality assessment of the set in accordance with the requirements of the implementation provisions of the INSPIRE Directive.

W artykule zaprezentowane zostały częściowe wyniki badań dotyczących wpływu systemów zapewnienia jakości na funkcjonowanie wielu sfer organizacyjnych przedsiębiorstw budowlanych. Analiza tych wyników wykazała, że kompleksowe zarządzanie jakością może być bardzo użytecznym rozszerzeniem funkcjonujących w tych firmach systemów jakości zgodnych z normami ISO, jeżeli zostanie prawidłowo umiejscowione w ich strukturach organizacyjnych.

The article presents partial results of research carried out on the influence of quality systems on functioning of several organizational areas of construction companies. The analysis indicates that total quality management may be a very useful amendment to the already implemented by construction enterprises quality systems according to the ISO norms if properly placed in their organizational structures.
