In this paper a problem of contrast sharpening of color images is addressed.The concept of Color lum sharpener (CLUM) is proposed for enhancement of contrast of old church paintings images. This color sharpener is based on local contrast enhancing techniques. The simple measure of contrast for color images is considered. Some versions of CLUM are proposed based on different ordering schemes in RGB as well as in HSV color space. The color pixels in the sharpening window are sorted and their rank is a based for image sharpening.

W artykule tym przedstawiono koncepcję filtru wyostrzającego odszumiania obrazów. Filtr ten jest uogólnieniem koncepcji filtru wyostrzającego LUM dla obrazów kolorowych. Kolorowy filtr wyostrzający CLUM został zastosowany do poprawy kontrastu obrazu malowideł sakralnych. Korzysta on z lokalnych metod poprawy kontrastu obrazu. Przedstawiono kilka wersji tego filtru dla różnych sposobów porządkowania pikseli. Rozpatrywano je w przestrzeniach RGB i HSV.

Nonlinear acoustic methods are found increasing applications during the last decades. They are effective for diagnostics of bubbles in liquids and cracks in solids since bubbles and cracks are strongly nonlinear scatterers. In this paper the nonlinear acoustic techniques for imaging of liquids and solids with the nonlinear acoustic defects are described Results of investigation demonstrate possibilities of the nonlinear acoustic techniques in nondestructive testing of different media.
