Hałas wpływa na jakość życia ludzi na całym świecie. W dużych pomieszczeniach o powierzchniach odbijających fale dźwiękowe szczególnie dokuczliwy jest hałas pogłosowy. W artykule przedstawiono właściwości dźwiękochłonne zielonej ściany „Mur Végétal” umieszczonej w Gdańskiej Galerii Handlowej „Przymorze” oraz ocenę jej przydatności w tłumieniu hałasu pogłosowego pochodzącego z działalności tej galerii.

Noise affects the quality of life of people around the world. One of its components is the reverberation noise. The phenomenon becomes particularly problematic in large rooms with surfaces that reflect sound waves. The study presents the sound absorption properties of the living wall „Mur Végétal” located in the Gdańsk Shopping Centre „Przymorze” and its usefulness to suppress the reverberation noise of the activity of the shopping centre.

This research is the next stage of research related to extraordinary features of Special Granular Structures. Some properties of granular structures, e.g. the changing of structure of the material, once it is submitted to internal underpressure in a sealed container, led the authors to believe that the acoustic properties may also change with pressure. Performed research regarding material sound absorption of investigated granular structures shows new potential possibilities of their application and confirms, that one can control acoustic properties of such structures.

W artykule rozważany jest problem możliwości wykorzystania układu aktywnej redukcji hałasu do poprawy klimatu akustycznego w kabinie samochodu osobowego. Opisano model układu aktywnej redukcji hałasu, który posłużył do przeprowadzenia szerokich badań symulacyjnych, opartych na sygnałach zarejestrowanych w czasie badań drogowych. Zaproponowano oryginalną modyfikację struktury układu, która według symulacji znacznie poprawia uzyskiwane przez niego rezultaty. W artykule rozważono również możliwe drogi dalszego rozwoju metod aktywnych.

It was considered a problem of application possibility of active noise reduction system to improve acoustic environment in passenger car cab. There was described model of active noise reduction that was applied to lead widespread simulation experiments, based on signals registered during road tests. It was proposed, the original modification of system structure, which according the simulation, significantly improve ob-tained results. It was also consider possible ways of further development of active methods.
