Do otrzymania kompozycji smarowych wykorzystano metodę Taguchi'ego. Zwrócono szczególną uwagę na dobór składników, uwzględniając oprócz ich właściwości funkcjonalnych także nietoksyczność. Gwarantowało to uzyskanie smarów spełniających zarówno wymagania eksploatacyjne, jak i ekologiczne. W teście stabilności oksydacyjnej zbadano odporność smarów na utlenianie. Na podstawie badań spektralnych i reologicznych oceniono zmiany w strukturze smarów.

Three lubricants were prepd. by compounding plant and synthetic oils with an inorg. thickener, an antioxidant and a corrosion inhibitor and studied for oxidn. resistance at 80-120°C and rheol. properties. The lubricants showed a satisfactory stability of their structure and resistance to deformation.

Analizę termiczną zastosowano do oceny stopnia zestarzenia oleju bazowego oraz opracowanego smaru plastycznego po badaniach eksploatacyjnych. Próbki do badań derywatograficznych pochodziły z łożyska pieca piekarniczego. Jako kryterium oceny przyjęto zmianę odporności termicznej wyznaczoną na podstawie analizy derywatograficznej. Stosując techniki symultaniczne, w których próbka jest badana kilkoma metodami w tym samym czasie (TG/DTA), uzyskano charakterystykę stabilności termicznej środka smarowego w trakcie eksploatacji.

The thermal analysis was used to the estimation of the degree of aging of base oil and of the grease after exploitation research. As the criterion of the estimation of aging of grease after the exploitation one accepted the change of the thermal resistance appointed on the ground of the thermal analysis. Using techniques simultaneous in which the sample is investigated several methods at the same time (TG-DTA) one can obtain the characterization of the degradation of the grease during the exploitation. With this manner we receive the information on of the relative thermal stability of the grease and of changes happening in the sample during her heating. Obtained curves are a measure of exploitation usefulness of grease. The manner of interpretations obtained curve made possible the estimation of happening process of the senescence called out with the influence of external extortions conditioned of the real exploitation. Methods of the thermal analysis prosperously one used to the delimitation of the thermal stability and research of the degradation by the oxygenation. The thermal stability that is to say the persistence in conditions of the elevated temperature to the state one from most essential denominative factors the application usefulness of lubricants.
