The great interest of VoIP technology is a resulting of the high quality of telephone connections and the low costs of maintenance, either. Unfortunately, these advantages are not exoneration for the level of safety of making phone calls. In the article the attention was paid to the aspects of confidentiality of passed on Voice over Internet Protocol's information. The author of the article shows the places of the potential dangers of safety and the ways of the improvement of the level safety.

Urząd Komunikacji Elektronicznej uruchomił w kwietniu 2011 r. rozwiązanie teleinformatyczne służące do przekazywania danych o wzywającym pomocy i jego lokalizacji służbom ustawowo powołanym do niesienia pomocy. System ten nosi oficjalną nazwę "Platforma Lokalizacyjno-Informacyjna z Centralną Bazą Danych" (dalej PLICBD lub Platforma), pod którą został sfinansowany w ramach listy projektów podstawowych 7. osi priorytetowej Programu Operacyjnego Innowacyjna Gospodarka. Tym samym zakończony został ważny etap wdrażania kompleksowego systemu ratownictwa w Polsce [4]. Koncepcja PLICBD została opisana w referacie przedstawionym na VII Konferencji naukowej "Informatyka - sztuka czy rzemiosło" (2010 r.) Uniwersytetu Zielonogórskiego, Wydziału Elektrotechniki, Informatyki i Telekomunikacji, Instytutu Informatyki i Elektroniki [1]. Równocześnie powstanie PLICBD otwiera drogę do dalszego jej rozwoju w kierunku jeszcze innych zastosowań. Niniejszy tekst pokazuje takie potencjalne kierunki nie przesądzając jakie ostatecznie zostaną wybrane i jaki dokładnie kształt przybiorą (zwłaszcza, że nie został zakończony proces nowelizacji prawa dostosowujący je do wymagań UE oraz w pełni sankcjonujący zaprojektowaną funkcjonalność PLICBD).

In April 2011 the Office of Electronic Communications launched the IT solution for transmission of data concerning emergency requests for assistance and geographical locations of such requests - to be used by services statutorily obliged to provide requested assistance. This system is officially named "Location and Information Platform with a Central Database" (hereinafter PLICBD or platform) and was funded as a one of main projects of the seventh priority axis of the Operational Programme Innovative Economy. Thus, an important step in the implementation of a comprehensive emergency system in Poland has been ended up [4]. The PLICBD concept is described in the paper presented at the conference KNWS 2010 [1]. Creation of PLICBD opens the way for further development of additional functionalities and applications of the system. This paper shows such potential directions without prejudging what ultimately will be chosen and what shape it exactly will take (in particular, the process of revising the law to adapt it to the EU requirements and fully sanctioning designed functionalities of PLICBD has not been completed yet).
