The paper presents basic problems concerning anti-wear coating deposition with the use of PAPVD technologies. The author proposes an organisational structure of knowledge transformation and technology transfer in the field of surface engineering. Basic tasks and analysis of effectiveness of this type of structure were presented on the example of the Plasma Technology Centre.

W pracy przedstawiono problemy związane z zastosowaniem technologii plazmowego nakładania przeciwzużyciowych warstw metodami PAPVD. Została zaproponowana struktura organizacyjna transformacji wiedzy i transferu technologii w obszarze inżynierii powierzchni. Podstawowe zadania oraz analizę efektywności działania tego typu struktury przedstawiono na przykładzie Centrum Technologii Plazmowych.

Stan eksploatacji środków trwałych jako determinanta transferu nowych technologii do przemysłu w warunkach zmian systemu gospodarczego.

The necessity of adjusting Polish industrial enterprises to standards of competitiveness and effectiveness of the free-market economy in well-developed countries results in the need for efficient implementation of the latest achivements of science and technology into economic practise. An anlysis of the state of fixed assets maintenance in industry in the transition perios of the economic system is presented in the paper. Some important problems connected with the improvement of maintenance in industrial enterprises are also presented. Solving these problems is an essential factor contributing to increasing the enterprises' value and their products' competitiveness. Conditions of introducing new technologies into industry are also analysed.
