W pracy przedstawiono koncepcję projektu zwirtualizowanego i zintegrowanego środowiska oferującego możliwość pracy zdalnej studentów studiujących w trybie e-learningowym.

The paper presents the design concept virtualized and integrated environment offering the opportunity to work remotely students studying in e-learning. It uses the latest technologies to build, manage IT environment and ensure safety. The paper presents the design and pilot implementation for a small group of users. It creates an environment tailored to the needs of the course for specialized studies that benefit from hardware support blade servers as a scalable, highly reliable database that maintains the hardware virtualization environment. The specificity of building a virtual environment sets high technological requirements for infrastructure, in particular for storage that must have a large capacity, low access times and high data transfer.

The paper analyses Grid networking resource virtualization technologies and requirements in the context of computational mobility. The mechanisms of network virtualization supported by Xen and xVM/Crossbow are presented and compared. A network virtualization model, consisting of three layers, is presented. Changes in virtual network infrastructures resulting from VM or zone mobility are investigated in detail. Typical migration process scenarios are presented, in addition to system commands used prior to and following migration in order to restore network communication. The concept of automating this process is also described.
