The inception of the turbulence in the laminar boundary layer induced by wakes is brought about mainly by the instability mechanism of the fluid. This view is supported by the appearance of the first high-frequency velocity fluctuations only in the certain sublayer at height […] near the plate surface and simultaneously in whole region between the wakes at this height. A new model of the induced boundary layer transition is elaborated, based on the statement that the disturbances caused by the wake move with the velocity of the wakes outside the boundary layer. So no turbulent spots are created of the kind known from the natural transition.
