W artykule zwrócono uwagę na znaczenie prawa naturalnego jako obiektywnego układu odniesienia dla kształtowania jakości życia człowieka i włączenia tej jakości w koncepcję rozwoju społeczno-ekonomicznego. Świadomość społeczna doceniająca dobro zawarte w prawie naturalnym może się manifestować w odpowiednich formach demokracji bezpośredniej, przyczyniających się do stworzenia właściwego ładu społeczno-ekonomicznego, który w obszarze rozwiązań ekonomicznych wymusi stosowanie założeń ekonomii społecznej. To one są podstawą dla zbudowania systemu społeczno-ekonomicznego wykorzystującego w rozwiązaniach ekonomicznych model społecznej gospodarki rynkowej. W opracowaniu wskazano niektóre atrybuty społecznej gospodarki rynkowej, a w sposób szczególny podkreślono konieczność uformowania nowej kategorii o charakterze makroekonomicznym - wartości społecznej. Jest to kategoria o fundamentalnym znaczeniu, spinająca w jedną całość procesy alokacyjne zasobów zarówno w wymiarze społecznym, jak i rynkowym.

This paper draws attention to the importance of natural law, as an objective reference point shaping the quality of human life, and incorporating this quality into the socio-economic development concept. Social awareness that appreciates the good contained in natural law can manifest itself in respective forms of direct democracy. They will do much to further the socio-economic order, which in the area of economic solutions will enforce the assumptions of a social economy. These assumptions are the fundamentals for building a socio-economic system utilizing a social market economy model to develop economic solutions. This paper points to some features of a social market economy, and particularly underlines the necessity of forming a new category of a macroeconomic character - social value. This category is of fundamental importance as it links together various resource allocation processes, both in social and market terms.

The aim of the article is to point to the connections that combine the modern concept of human rights and selected theories of natural law. The author's goal is to indicate that the common element of the concept of human rights and natural law is the concept of human dignity. Historically, the concept of human rights can be regarded as a result of different conceptions of natural law developed by various thinkers for many centuries. The author of the article uses theoretical analysis. The research question concerns the relationships between theories of human rights and selected concepts of natural law.

Artykuł prezentuje doniosłość i aktualność wizji praw człowieka pojmowanych jako uprawnienia ius w ujęciu wybitnego myśliciela M.A. Krąpca. Mają one swój naturalny fundament w osobowej strukturze bytowej człowieka i jej wrodzonych inklinacjach (prawie naturalnym w wersji klasycznej – Arystotelesa i św. Tomasza z Akwinu), a obiektywne źródło tych praw determinuje ich uniwersalny charakter. Natomiast postpozytywizm, który za podstawę rozstrzygnięć porządku prawnego przyjmuje zasady wykreowane przez konwencje i odwołuje się do danych socjologii deskryptywnej, nie może formułować norm i praw powszechnie wiążących.

The article presents the significance and topicality of the vision of human rights understood as ius entitlement in the conception by an outstanding thinker M.A. Krąpiec. These rights have their natural foundation in the personal existential structure of the human and its inborn inclinations (natural law in the classicist version by Aristotle and Aquinas) and the objective source of these rights determines their universal character. However, post-positivism, which accepts the rules created by conventions as the foundation for settling the legal order and refers to descriptive sociology data, cannot form the norms and laws commonly binding.

Axiology and the natural law together with the qualities resulting from them ensure the cohesion of science and education. This article is aimed at describing the principal natural laws and axioms as well as indicating the meaning of axiology and the natural law for science and the educational processes with special focus on the socio–economic sciences. It also presents the consequences for the development which may result from the negligence of axiology and the natural law in science and education.
