W Instytucie Technologii Eksploatacji - Państwowym Instytucie Badawczym w Radomiu został opracowany system do badań napędów elektromechanicznych. Napędy stosowane są między innymi w systemach ochrony ppoż oraz inżynierii procesowej wymagającej sterowania przepływem czynnika z wykorzystaniem zaworów napędzanych aktuatorami o ruchu liniowym lub obrotowym. Istotnym elementem systemu badawczego jest komora klimatyczna umożliwiającą określenie wpływu zmiennych warunków temperaturowych na parametry pracy siłowników elektrycznych. At the Institute for Sustainable Technologies - National Research Institute, Radom, Poland a system for electromechanical drive tests was developed. Ellectromechanical drives are, inter alia, used in fire protection systems and process engineering that require the fIow of the medium to be controlled by means of actuator-driven valves. A climatic chamber is a crucial element of the test system as it allows for the determination of the influence of alternating thermal conditions on work parametres of electric servomotors. In order to verify the design assumptions, a numerical simulation of the thermal state in the chamber was conducted in the temperature range of - 35 to + 120 0 C.

W artykule przedstawiono genezę powstania odrębnego przedmiotu wykładowego, dotyczącego napędów elektromechanicznych, ewolucję programów jego nauczania. Opisano zakres i treści merytoryczne wykładu oraz ćwiczeń laboratoryjnych z napędów elektromechanicznych urządzeń precyzyjnych. W zarysie przedstawiono zespół pracowników naukowo-dydaktycznych, zajmujących się zagadnieniami napędów. Wspomniano o praktycznym wykorzystywaniu wiedzy i umiejętności studentów w pracach przejściowych i dyplomowych.

The author describes the genesis of establishing a separate lecture subject pertaining to the problem area of electromechanic drives and an evolution of the related syllabuses, a range and modern essential contents of the lecture and the laboratory classes pertaining to the electromechanic drives of precision devices. The descriptions are enriched with a number of illustrations taken from didactic materials. A lot of various aids were prepared for the lectures and the classes; their description is contained in the summary. At the end, it is mentioned how the students practically utilize their knowledge and acquirements related to the problem area of electromechanic drives while realizing large projects and M.Sc. theses.
