Wykonano analizę składu chemicznego nadkrytycznych ekstraktów (CO2) drobnych gałązek brzozy (Betula spp.) i stwierdzono w nich wysoką zawartość substancji biologicznie aktywnych (seskwiterpeny, triterpeny, flawonoidy, fenylopropenoidy oraz sterole). Ponadto, zaobserwowano znaczące różnice w składzie chemicznym ekstraktów otrzymywanych z brzozy brodawkowatej (Betula pendula Roth) oraz brzozy omszonej (Betula pubescens Ehrh.).

The exts. were analyzed by gas chromatog. to det. contents of sesquiterpenes, triterpenes, flavonoids, phenylpropenoids and sterols. Significant differences in the chem. compn. of exts. from both birch species were obsd. Silver birch (Betula pendula Roth) and downy birch (Betula pubescens Ehrh.) twigs were disintegrated (grain size 0.5 mm), dried and extd. with supercrit. CO2 at 40°C under 30 MPa for 3 h. The ext. yields were 8.4% and 4.8%, resp.

The paper presents a variant analysis of the structures of closed gas turbines using supercritical carbon dioxide (super-CO2) as a working fluid. Several configurations covered in the available literature were collected, commented on and compared. The parameters of the cycles, such as operating temperature and heat supply are noted and commented on. There are three main configurations considered in the available literature: the precompression cycle, partial cooling cycle, and recompression cycle.

Przedstawiono wyniki analiz składu chemicznego ekstraktów z wybranych surowców roślinnych uzyskanych w nadkrytycznym CO₂. Przeanalizowano skład ekstraktów z mięty, rumianku, szałwii, pokrzywy i nagietka. Metodą analizy chromatograficznej z detekcją mas ustalono skład chemiczny ekstraktów, olejków lotnych oraz skład jakościowy i ilościowy fazy olejowej.

CO₂ supercrit. exts. of nettle, mint, pot marigold, matricaria and sage were processed by hydrodistn. nd optionally by esterification of free fatty acids and then analyzed for acid, saponification and ester nos. and for chem. compn. by gas chromatog. Seventy-five compds. were sepd. and identified.

Extraction Of Cobalt From Spent CMB Catalyst Using Supercritical CO2

The metal extraction from spent CMB catalyst using supercritical CO2(scCO2) was investigated with single organic system, binary organic system and ternary organic system to extract metal ions. Leaching solution of spent CMB catalyst containing 389 mg L-1 Co2+, 187 mg L-1 Mn2+, 133 mg L-1 Na+, 14.97 mg L-1 Ca2+ and 13.2 mg L-1 Mg2+. The method consists of scCO2/ligands complexation process and metal extraction process at 60°C and 200bar. The result showed the Co and Mn was selectively extracted from Mg, Ca and Na in the ternary system of mixture of Cyanex272, DEA and Alamine304-I.
