In Poland, fossils of the Late Cretaceous sea reptiles can be found in Cretaceous erratics deposited in glacial sediments of Gdaňsk Pomerania. There has been little mention of this subject. Thus far, only two fossils of this type have been found on the southern Baltic coast: a mosasaur vertebra from Königsberg and a partially preserved plesiosaur skeleton from Malbork (Schroeder, 1885). However, in recent years, the authors found about 20 fragments of Late Cretaceous mosasaur and plesiosaur fossils along the coastline of Gdynia, Gdaňsk Pomerania. The authors point to the possibility of further searching for similar fossils.
