W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań zaprawy cementowej z udziałem mielonego gruzu ceglanego i betonowego, wskazujące na jego przydatność do celów budowlanych. Inspiracją eksperymentu był fakt, iż cykl istnienia wielu obiektów budowlanych dobiega końca. Rozbiórce podlega część poniemieckiej zabudowy, budynki przemysłowe, obiekty infrastruktury drogowej, kolejowej czy portowej. W związku z tym powstają ogromne ilości odpadów, w tym gruz budowlany, stanowiące obciążenie środowiska naturalnego, dlatego istotne jest opracowanie rozwiązań, które zminimalizują ten problem.

This paper presents results of the study on cement mortar consisting milled brick and concrete debris which indicate its usefulness for construction purposes. The inspiration behind this experiment was the fact that the durability of many constructions works is coming to an end. Part of the former German construction works, industrial buildings, road, railway or port infrastructure facilities is subject to demolition. Because of that, there are generated huge quantities of waste remains, including construction debris, which are a burden on the natural environment and which is why developing solutions minimizing the problem is crucial.

Contribution of new materials to dynamic resistance capacity and integrity of structures

The paper deals with the analysis of chosen new materials properties intended to increase dynamie resistance and integrity of structures. The key experimental results are presented which represent the achievements obtained on national and international levels in Bratislava, Iasi, Skopje, Seriate and Ispra. Related analytical studies done so far in Bucharest, Opole, Skopje and Bratislava created the basis for more smart calculations approach when the design resistance is being to assess. Displacement - force dependence through seismic response spectra were applied for simple masonry structure and R/C frame with reinforced masonry infills. The procedure follows in details the stress-deflection stage when higher dynamic seismic or other actions appear. The recoramended behaviour limits are analysed in relation to the ductility and resistance capacity of the respective structural system. The applied option suggests the verification of expected ultimate stresses and deformation. Thus, the performance analysis gives the indices whether the structure is provided with sufficient dynamie resistance capacily against the damage.
