The conductivity of the liver tissue in pigs measured at 25 degrees Celsius was 3.27š 0.27 mS/cm. The temperature distributions obtained using the finite element method from the measured conductivity showed that two pairs of four hook-like electrodes produced the largest volume of ablation.
