Jako przykład został wybrany proces projektowy formy wtryskowej do formowania pokrywy bezpieczników pojazdów samochodowych z tworzywa sztucznego.

The paper presents the opportunities and benefits of using Solid Edge CAD system, integrated with Autodesk Mold Flow, for parametric design of injection molds. As an example was chosen the mold design process for forming automotive fuse cover made of plastic.

W artykule przedstawiono metodykę tworzenia formy wtryskowej, przeznaczonej do formowania górnej osłony silnika samochodu osobowego, na podstawie analizy formowania tworzywa. Model wypraski wykonano zgodnie z przyjętymi założeniami konstrukcyjnymi w środowisku modelowania przestrzennego CAD.

This article presents a methodology to create the mold tool, intended to form the upper motor cover, manufactured on the basis of the plastics processing. The three-dimensional model cover, was performed according to construction plan in spatial CAD environment.

The work shows the use of simulation software for aiding the design of forming elements of injection moulds and for the analysis of the phenomena occurring while the injection mould cavities are filled with polymer material. The digital analysis was used for the design work of a research modular injection mould equipped with a hot runner system. The use of the injection moulding process simulation software significantly simplifies the analysis of the appropriateness of the assumptions concerning the plastic part shape, the location of the gating points, the gaiting geometry as well as facilitates the recognition of the phenomena taking place inside the mould cavity while polymer freezes. The use of the simulation software results from the necessity to adopt the right assumptions concerning the simulation model and the knowledge of the process parameters used for processing a particular plastic material. In addition to injection mould design aiding, simulation programs constitute a tool to define advantageous plastic material processing parameters.

W pracy zweryfikowano wyniki symulacji procesu wtryskiwania PA6.6+30%WS w oparciu o badania doświadczalne. Kryterium oceny analizy porównawczej był skurcz i odkształcenia wyprasek. Rozkłady skurczu i odkształcenia wyprasek analizowano w programie symulacyjnym Cadmould. Przeprowadzone analizy porównawcze potwierdzają celowość wykorzystywania symulacji komputerowych na etapach projektowania wyprasek, konstruowania formy i optymalizacji procesu.

The paper presented the verification of a simulation and examination results of the injection moulding PA6.6 with 30% GF. A shrinkage and deformation of molded parts were criteria for estimate of a comparative analyze. Shrinkage and deformation in the injection mould were analyzed by the usage of the Cadmould simulation software and were determined by usage a coordinate measuring machine. Comparative analyzes indicate that the injection moulding simulation software is useful for the molded parts designing and, mould constructing and also for the optimization injection moulding process.
