Purpose: Theory of construction similarity has its roots in the theory of physical similarity. The model in the theory of construction similarity is a model construction. Model in the theory of similarity of construction and technology is construction and technology standard. Design/methodology/approach: The fundamental aim of the work is the selection of design features in particular type sizes of series of types that allows obtaining physical, stereomechanical and simple states that are identical as in the model construction. The basic form of the record of series of construction types is program and relation parameterization. Features are determined for the items stored in the form of series of construction and technology types. Research limitations/implications: Analysed methods develop algorithmisation of engineers and technologists environment and support integration with the process of preparation the production. Practical implications: Described methods were being developed on practical examples of creating the series of types of hydraulic cylinders used in mining. Originality/value: Method of the constructional similarity, technological similarity presented in the paper are basis of selection of design features in the process of series of types and module systems of constructions and technology creating. All of these methods support intensive development of the types of technical features and affect on their competitive on the ready market.

Design/methodology/approach: The essence of this theory is to choose such constructional features of the new designed construction to obtain the identical states: physical, stereo mechanical or simple like in the standard construction However, in creating new technologies to obtain the same technological conditions: cutting power, cutting forces and cutting performance as standard technology. Findings: Elaborated methodology aim to identify similarities in the way of semi-automated construction and technology. Features are determined for the items stored in the form of series of construction and technology types. The model of the module system of the implementation of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) inlets was introduced in the article. The concept presents a system using the virtual model. System includes unique devices and specialized technologies designed for production of prototypes of the new generations of documents with the electronic protection. Industrial utilisation of the system will make possible the elastic and short series production of the final article in the form of cards, name tags, tickets, etiquettes and other documents consisting of two layers of the material (paper) RFID chip placed in between, electronically (record in the memory of the chip) and graphically (individual overprints on the surface) personalized.

A module system of thermal diagnosis has been developed and put into practice in the BOT Power Plant Opole. The described system includes the following modules: a module of preliminary and advanced validation measurements data, a module of calculation of indices characterizing the operational indices of power unit, a module of simulation of the power unit operation and a module for calculation of deviations of the index of specific consumption of the chemical energy of fuel as a result of the deviations of indices characterizing the operational condition of the power unit. The server of this computer system is connected by means of Ethernet web with ProMan-N server. Measurements data from object distributed control systems of power units and also constant and other data are collected within one minute sampling. The results of calculations are saved in the database of the system. The system will provide the information necessary to current control and to estimate operation of power units and the whole power plant. The main objectives of the system are estimation of operation of power units taking into account energy production, examination of the influence of change of parameters of operation on the obtained results and on the fuel consumption. The friendly graphic interface enables the presentation of results in the form of schemas, reports and diagrams. The main benefits which result from the introduction of the system are reduction of expensive analyses done by external firms and possibility of analyses of energy balances in particular technology units.
