Model of the thermomechanical behaviour description of conductors caused by outer steady and quasi-steady electromagnetic field is proposed. When formulating the governing equations of the model, temperature dependency of effective material coefficients and possibility of the radiative heat exchange are taken into account. Polarization and magnetization processes were neglected. Deformation is considered to be quasi-static. Considered thermomechanical model for non-metallic conductors with using of methods for solving the formulated boundary-valued problems was admitted to estimate the influence of electromagnetic field acting to the specimens by electrical conductivity coefficient measurement. The practical applications of model has been proposed as well.
