The factor that limits use of hydrogen for common use in automotive systems is danger of explosion of hydrogen-oxygen mixture. Because of that, detection and research on hydrogen content in air is very important from the security point of view. Use of tomography can be an alternative (in relation to currently used) method for such measurement, because it is not invasive, very fast, convenient and relatively cheap. The ultrasonic flowmeters using transit time or time of flight method can be used for such measurement.
