As a result of some years of team cooperation between the authors geological models of some hydrocarbons fields located in Polish Lowlands have been worked out. Reservoir rocks in these fields are either sandstones or carbonates. In the process of the model creation a wide range of statistical methods was applied. Seismic, well logging and laboratory data were analyzed with attention to find relationships between them and basic reservoir parameters: poro¬sity, permeability, saturation, gross thickness and effective thickness. In this paper we present the first fully 3-dimensional model of gas field Rozansko. Creation of this model was possible only while taking into account details consulted with petrologists and reservoir engineers, allowing definition of separate layers differing in reservoir parameters. The geostatistical model of the gas field was built in two steps. First the structural and litofacial model of the reservoir was created with parameters defined at well locations. Then, based on seismic attributes, using geostatistical methods spatial distribution of reservoir parameters was evaluated.
