The aim of the paper is to present easier way for calculating sedimentograph (graph of suspended sediment load) caused by rainfall in lowland catchments. A sedimentograph model consists of two parts: hydrological and sedimentological instantaneous unit hydrograph (IUH) procedure to transform the effective rainfall into direct runoff hydrograph. A sedimentological part uses modified Universal Soil Loss Equation (MUSLE) to estimate an amount of sediment produced in catchement during rainfall-runoff event and the instantaneous unit sedi-mentgraph (IUSG) procedure to transform produced sediment into sedimentograph. A previous ver-sion of model presented by Banasik (1994) was based on IUH derived by Nash. Author of presented paper verified three different hydrological models to find out which is most suitable for lowland catchment. Lutz and Wackermann gave the best results. A new version of IUSG uses Wackermann model allows easier application in ungauged catchments due to simple method for estimating its parameters. A new formulae for calculating sediment rout-ing coefficient (B) has been proposed. Using new and previous version of IUSG one can get similar results, which are good in author's opinion. In the paper results from verification of MUSLE formu-lae is presented. All models were verified using author's data from small lowland catchments (24 sq.km) of Ol-szanka river.
