In this article, we present a proposition of a model of the compressive behaviour of open- -cell aluminium with relation to the material apparent density. The research was based on experimental data from uniaxial compression tests conducted for two sample lots. These results were analysed with the use of neural networks in a specially designed algorithm. The main criterion for choosing a satisfactory approximation was mean absolute relative error MARE<5%. As a result of the analysis, the sought relation was extracted and is presented as a proposition of a new ANN model of the compressive stress-strain relationship for aluminium sponge.

Content available remote Equivalence of Processes in Partially Commutative Object-Oriented Environments

In this paper, the functional equivalence problem for processes, which is an important constituent of process optimization, is considered in object-oriented environments. Two basic cases are investigated: when the turn of operations execution is not essential for some objects while it is essential for the rest of them. In the first case, those objects are named commutative. Environments with both commutative and non-commutative objects are named partially commutative. It is shown, that the equivalence problem of processes in partially commutative environments that contain two or more commutative objects with more than one operation is unsolvable. The largest class of partially commutative environments is outlined where the equivalence problem is solvable (decidable). It is shown, that if there is only one object with two or more operations among commutative objects then the equivalence problem is solvable.

Zbiorniki grawitacyjno-pompowe stanowią nową generacje innowacyjnych rozwiązań służących zagospodarowaniu kulminacyjnych przepływów ścieków w sieciach kanalizacyjnych. W publikacji przedstawiono podstawowe równania różniczkowe, opisujące bilans ścieków dla charakterystycznych faz działania tego typu zbiorników. Podane formuły posłużą do sformułowania madeli matematycznych, opisujących procesy hydrauliczne we wszystkich komorach jednocześnie, podczas procesu akumulacji ścieków oraz opróżniania grawitacyjno-pompowych zbiorników retencyjnych w kanalizacji.

The paper preents equation of waste water balance in pump-gravitational reservoir with upper accumulation chamber for the characteristic phases of its work. TheThe separate phases of functioning of reservoir is characterized by specific hydraulic conditions in different chambers. The balance equations serve for formulation of mathematical models for description of hydrological processs during the phases of accumulation and emptying of such storage reservoirs. The model makes possible to elaborate the methods of engineer projecting of reservoirs and to introduce them as an efficient objects of waste water works.
