In this study the authors present a proposal of spatial data integration in Poland through creation of a homogeneous georeference data model for all state geodetic and cartographic resources managed by geodetic and cartographic offices. On the basis of this model a public spatial data register (PRDP) might be created, which should be the official reference spatial database in Poland. The presented concept assumes that the PRDP database would be a digital landscape model represented by definite object classes selected because of their reference significance. The PRDP database based on this model would be separated from its visualization, i.e. from the methods of digital cartographic model creation. The concept of a homogeneous georeference data model assumes substitution of several hitherto existing technical standards with two new ones: m a standard describing the whole catalogue of spatial object classes and their attributes, m a standard describing visualization of particular object classes in all scales used in the state geodetic and cartographic resources. Detailed analysis of the present state of technical standards allowed to formulate technical and organizational assumptions for creation of a homogeneous georeference data model, which is based on 41 object classes (with their attributes and relations to other official registers) and preliminary assumptions for their visualization.

The paper analyzes the present state of technical standards, according to which district, provincial and central bases of national land information system are built, namely: technical instruction K-1, technical instruction G-7, technical instruction G-5, technical guidelines TBD, instructions of objects and attributes for VMap L2, structure of attributes and encoding system of BDO. On the basis of the existing 810 object classes in these standards, 595 records were made containing unrepeatable object classes arranged in 11 thematic groups. Standards features were named and object classes of particular standards were characterized. Detailed analysis allowed to formulate conclusions with regard to elaboration of a preliminary conception of a new, homogeneous georeference data model and to elaboration of new technical standards in Poland.
