W artykule przedstawiono możliwości zastosowania interaktywnych instrukcji obsługi w utrzymaniu ruchu kombajnów ścianowych. Opisywane rozwiązanie umożliwia wykorzystanie, opracowanych w ITG KOMAG, interaktywnych instrukcji na urządzeniach mobilnych takich jak tablet, smartfon oraz PDA, jak również komputerze pokładowym z platformą systemową Windows oraz Android. Dzięki temu możliwe jest zwiększenie dostępności do informacji na temat bezpiecznego sposobu prowadzenia czynności naprawczych.

Possibility to aid maintenance of longwall shearers with interactive technical manuals is presented in the article. Interactive technical manual developed in ITG KOMAG can be used on different types of computer, including mobile computers like tablet, smartphone and PDA, and computers embedded in a longwall shearers, with Windows or Android environment. Therefore knowledge about safe and correct performing of maintenance activities is available for users.

W ciągu ostatnich lat wyraźnie wzrosło znaczenie mobilności. Obserwujemy także duże zapotrzebowanie łańcuchów dostaw na urządzenia i aplikacje mobilne. Trend ten zbiegł się z popularnością konsumenckich urządzeń i aplikacji mobilnych. Największą popularnością w łańcuchach dostaw cieszą się rozwiązania mobilne w obszarze dystrybucji i obsługi klienta oraz tam, gdzie mamy do czynienia z pracą w terenie. Implementacja rozwiązań mobilnych w systemach informatycznych rozległych, międzynarodowych łańcuchów dostaw natrafia na problem heterogeniczności środowiska. Projektant musi mieć na uwadze różne wymogi w zakresie interfejsu użytkownika, różne platformy sprzętowe, różne systemy operacyjne, różne standardy wymiany danych, a także różne parametry naziemnych telekomunikacyjnych sieci bezprzewodowych. W artykule autorzy wskazują najważniejsze aspekty projektowania systemów informatycznych dla łańcuchów dostaw wykorzystujących rozwiązania mobilne, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem potrzeb użytkowników działających w środowisku międzynarodowym.

Aspects of the design of information systems for supply chains using mobile solutions. In the past years the importance of mobility has clearly increased. We also see strong demand for mobile devices and applications in supply chains. This trend coincides with the popularity of consumer mobile gear. Mobile solutions are most popular in supply chains in the area of distribution and customer service, and where we are dealing with field service. The implementation of mobile solutions in information systems of large, international supply chains encounters the problem of heterogeneity of the environment. Developers must keep in mind different user interface requirements, different available hardware platforms, different operating systems, different standards for data exchange, as well as different parameters of terrestrial wireless communication networks. In the article, the authors point out the most important aspects of the design of information systems for supply chains using mobile solutions, with particular emphasis on the needs of users operating in an international environment.
