Przedstawiono zarys budowy minirobota mobilnego NAVIGATOR I, który powstał w Instytucie Automatyki i Robotyki Politechniki Warszawskiej. Ukazano możliwe zastosowania omawianego robota i plany rozwoju tego typu konstrukcji.

In the paper the design of mobile miniature robot – NAVIGATOR I was presented. The mobile was created in the Institute of Automatic Control and Robotics, Warsaw University of Technology. The applications of miniature robot are given. The future robot design development is also outlined.

In this paper the problem of inverse kinematics of the mobile 3-wheeled robot is analysed. The equations of kinematics which enable problem of inverse kinematics to be solved were given. Based on derived equations of kinematics for this robot the computer simulation with usage of Maple was carried out.
