Protection of building structures on mining terrains depends on a necessary resistance of these structures to impacts having mining origin. Both the resistance and the impacts are incriminated with random distribution. Therefore, an assessment of effects of mining should have a probabilistic character. The probabilistic method was presented of reliability assessment for structures set on the ground subjected to continuous deformations caused by underground mining. As a measure of this reliability the value of reliability indicator was chosen, depending on average values and standard deviations of the resistance of structures and impacts from the ground. It enables to assess the probability of unreliability of structures on mining terrains.
