The Military police enable commanders by providing a unique set of abilities that sustaining the joint functions and the military functions of the army through the military police disciplines of the police operations, detention operations and the security and mobility support. The purpose of the report is to describe the support and actions of the military police provided to the army related to the identification, body search and detention in the protection of civil society in operations other than war.

Żandarmeria Wojskowa umożliwia dowódcom poprzez zapewnienie unikalnego zestawu umiejętności, które podtrzymują wspólne funkcje i funkcje wojskowe armii poprzez wojskowe dyscypliny policyjne operacji policyjnych, operacji zatrzymania oraz bezpieczeństwa i wsparcia w zakresie mobilności. Celem raportu jest opisanie wsparcia i działań żandarmerii wojskowej na rzecz armii w zakresie identyfikacji, przeszukiwania ciała i przetrzymywania w celu ochrony społeczeństwa obywatelskiego w operacjach innych niż wojna.

The change of threats appearing in the world shows a growing role of military police in solving crisis situations. The author, on the example of operation “Benga” conducted by EUFOR in the Democratic Republic of Congo features how Military Police (MP) played one of the most important roles in that operation. The description of actions of Military Police special forces on the background of the whole operation and social and political situation in Congo proves the possibility of independent military contingents’ organisation by Military Police. The evaluation and analysis of particular stages of the mission and threats appearing in the course of the operation as well as the specific character of tasks presented in the article makes the author draw a conclusion concerning further MP engagement in similar operations.

Genezą opracowania samochodu jest potrzeba zbrojnego zwalczania sił przestępczych i terrory-stycznych, przy wykorzystaniu uzbrojonego oraz zapewniającego ochronę pancerną, mobilnego pojazdu. W referacie omowiono proces opracowania pojazdu, rezultaty badań, konstrukcję, charakterystyki taktyczno-techniczne poszczegolnych odmian oraz przeznaczenie i wyposażenie pojazdu przeznaczonego dla Żandarmerii Wojskowej.

The origins for the development of the armoured and armed vehicle is the need to have a possibility to fight criminal and terrorist activities. Design works and testing results of the vehicle as well as tactical – technical characteristics for specific options and more detailed description of the vehicle designated for the Military Police is given in the paper.

The article deals with problems concerning recognising elementary facts connected with the notion of a military system. Narrowing down and justifying the problem, the author took a position towards other authors' viewpoints concerning issues referring to the notion of a military system. In the further part of the article the author uses the matrix of coupling (conjugation). The identification of elements and mutual relations allowed the author to build a military system model.
