Structural physical problems research of industrial production hall buildings

Research of the structural and physical problems of envelope structures and physical components of internal environment and their mutual interaction in industrial buildings mostly of a hall type is the subject of the investigation of this article. The research was solved in close touch with the grant projects VEGA 1/9023/02 "The Interaction of physical factors in the creation of an appropriate working environment" and 1/2562/05 "Evaluation of thermal, humidity and lighting conditions of the production industrial buildings" joining with the research project 1/0695/08 with the title "Thermal flows in interaction of building construction and underground as well as external outdoor conditions for large space hall buildings", supported by Slovak Fund for Scientific Research, task which is being presently elaborated.

The Directive 2002/91/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the energy performance of buildings requires that investors and owners of the building fulfil requirements relating to the energy performance of the buildings. The purpose of the Directive is to support a decrease in the energy performance of the building, taking into account outdoor climatic and local conditions, requirements relating to the inside microclimate and efficiency of costs.

Zwrócono uwagę na związek termomodernizacji budynków ze zmianami mikroklimatu wnętrz i występowaniem zagrzybienia pomieszczeń. Podano warunki sprzyjające rozwojowi grzybów pleśniowych. Podkreślono, że w budynkach poddanych termorenowacji jest konieczne zapewnienie niezbędnej wymiany powietrza.

The relation between building thermomodernization and indoor microclimate changes causing propagation of fungus growth is described. Conditions favoring mildew and fungi propagation are settled. The necessity of regular ventilation is pointed out.
