Praca dotyczy mieszania materiałów drobnoziarnistych w mieszalniku typu V. Ustalono optymalne warunki pracy tego typu mieszalnika, dla badań zależności stopnia zmieszania od sposobu zasypu materiału i średnicy ziaren. Posłużą one w kolejnych badaniach do określenia wpływu sił kohezji i adhezji na proces mieszania.

The mixing of potassium bichromate and talc powders using a V - type mixer was studied. After the optimum operating conditions of the mixer were examined the effect of particle size on the cohesion and adhesion. The problem with this method is to break up the cohesional forces in the agglomerates of fine particles and to create strong adhesional forces between the potassium bichromate and talc. If the adhesion forces between the drug particles and the constitnuous phase are larger than the cohesion forces between the drug particles, an ordered mixture may then be formed. The intention of the present investigation was to study the influence of particle size and mixing time on the rate of deagglomeration and on the adhesion to a coarse talc.
