Analyses of extractives and mineral substance content were performed in wood and bark of trunk and wood of branch gained from Norway maple which was grown on the crossroads of Towarowa and Platynowa street in Warsaw. The influence of environmental pollution on extractives content in butt-end and top section on the cross-section was examined. Distribution of both extractives and mineral substances was analyzed along branches in the direction from trunk to the top. Results show that environmental pollution influenced the distribution of extractives and mineral substances on trunk cross-sections and along the trunk height, as well as along branches length and on its cross-sections
