Papers about applications of microwave dryers in ceramic industry has been already published in Szkło i Ceramika [1, 2]. This publication presents, among the others, some theoretical and practical complements to [1]. It presents also some achievements Research Institute of Glass and Ceramics in Warsaw. The ceramic industry uses the microwave channel dryers. But it seems that chamber dryers can be successfuly using too. In comparison with channel equipment the chamber dryers are cheeper and can be easily adapted to existing production process. The specific energy consumption is also shown. During testing of experimental and industrial dryers in Research Institut of Glass and Ceramics in Warsaw - some results were given in this paper - were drawn some conclusions for chamber dryer construction. It is necessary to provide the dryers with reach measurement equipment. It is very important in which way the air is supplied in the chamber - especially the magnetrons couling air. It is possible that by correct construction of dryer's chamber the rotary stand will be unnecessary. This can simlifies both the construction of dryers and the charch loading systems.
