Potrzeba zagospodarowania mocy produkcyjnych po zakończeniu II Wojny Światowej sprawiła, że niemieckie koncerny lotnicze jak Messerchmitt czy Heinkel, produkujące w czasie wojny śmiercionośną broń Luftwaffe, dokonały zmiany profilu swojej działalności. Dzięki temu w Niemczech i na Węgrzech doszło do kooperacji koncernów i fabryk związanych z lotnictwem z przemysłem motoryzacyjnym. Celem artykułu jest scharakteryzowanie rozwiązań lotniczych zastosowanych w latach 50. XX w. w przemyśle motoryzacyjnym na przykładzie samochodu osobowego Messerschmitt KR 200, a także węgierskich prototypów mikrosamochodów Alba Regia i Balaton. Analiza sprawozdania końcowego z zakończonych badań homologacyjnych samochodu osobowego Messerschmitt KR 200 zachowanego w Instytucie Transportu Samochodowego, a także studia literaturowe umożliwiły przygotowanie opisu technicznego i eksploatacyjnego tych pojazdów pod kątem scharakteryzowania ich roli i znaczenia w transporcie drogowym.

The need for utilising production capacity following the end of World War II meant that German aerospace companies, such as Messerchmitt or Heinkel, manufacturing deadly weapon for Luftwaffe during the war, had to think about changing profile of their business. Thanks to that in Germany and Hungary, corporations and aviation-related factories entered cooperation and began work in collaboration with the automotive industry. The aim of this paper is to characterize the aviation solutions used in the 50s of the XX century in the automotive industry using the example of a Messerschmitt KR 200 car, as well as Hungarian prototypes of micro-cars Alba Regia and the Balaton. Analysis of the final report from the completed type-certification tests of Messerschmitt KR 200 car preserved at the Motor Transport Institute, as well as literature studies have made it possible to prepare technical and operational description of these vehicles to characterize their role in the road transport.

Po zakończeniu II Wojny Światowej, z racji trudnej sytuacji gospodarczej w wielu państwach europejskich, rozpoczęto odbudowę potencjału motoryzacyjnego od produkcji mikrosamochodów. Ich zaletą była prostota konstrukcji, taniość w wykonaniu, niskie spalanie, jednocześnie chroniły one przed deszczem, mieszcząc od dwóch do trzech osób wraz z bagażem. Jednym słowem były to idealne samochody miejskie, przemierzające codziennie niewielką liczbę kilometrów, którym łatwo było znaleźć miejsce do zaparkowania. W artykule opisano rolę i cechy mikrosamochodu w transporcie drogowym lat 50.-tych XX wieku na przykładzie pojazdu BMW Isetta, który w latach 1956-1957 przeszedł badania drogowe w Instytucie Transportu Samochodowego w Warszawie. Z badań tych wynika, że pojazd dostarczony do Instytutu na badania miał bardzo dobre wyniki badań statycznych i eksploatacyjnych i nadawał się do użytku na polskich drogach. Mimo to polscy konstruktorzy nie zdecydowali się na import tych pojazdów do PRL, a jego założenia konstrukcyjne nie zostały w większości wykorzystane przy produkcji polskich mikrosamochodów.

After the end of World War II, due to the difficult economic situation, many European countries began rebuilding the automotive potential starting from the production of micro cars. Their advantage was a simplicity of the design, cheap production, low fuel consumption. At the same time they would protect from the rain, while carrying two to three people with luggage. In a word, they were the perfect city cars, travelling a small number of kilometres every day, with which it was easy to find a place to park, in front of the building. The article describes the role and characteristics of the micro car in the road transport of the 50s of the XX century using the example of BMW Isetta motor vehicle, which in 1956-1957 underwent road tests at the Motor Transport Institute in Warsaw. The results suggest that the car delivered to the Institute in 1956 for tests had very good results of static and operating tests and was suitable for use on Polish roads. Nevertheless, the Polish designers chose not to import these vehicles to PRL and its design features have not been used, for the most part, in the production of Polish designed micro cars.

Artykuł przedstawia krótką historię czterokołowców za granicą i w Polsce. Ponadto zawiera opis problemów dotyczących rejestracji i dopuszczenia do ruchu po drogach publicznych w Polsce. Podsumowanie nowej klasyfikacji i definicji pojazdów kategorii L6e i L7e opublikowanej w rozporządzenia Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady nr 168/2013 w sprawie homologacji i nadzoru rynku pojazdów dwu- lub trzykołowych oraz czterokołowców.

The article presents a brief history of quadricycles in Poland and abroad. Identification and description of problems related to registration and entry into service in Poland. A summary of the new classification and definition of L6e and L7e vehicles published in Regulation (EU) No 168/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 January 2013 on the approval and market surveillance of two- or three-wheel vehicles and quadricycles.

W artykule został przedstawiony jeden z ciekawszych samochodów Mikrus produkowanych w Polsce. Prototyp tego samochodu był badany w Instytucie Transportu Samochodowego, co pozwoliło na zachowanie ciekawych materiałów pochodzących z badań. Na początku artykułu zarysowano zakres badań oraz metody. W dalszej części przedstawiono wybrane usterki konstrukcji, które wystąpiły w okresie badań samochodu. Usterki te przedstawiono w postaci chronologicznej, biorąc pod uwagę czas ich wystąpienia oraz przebieg pojazdu w momencie wystąpienia usterki. Do zobrazowania niektórych usterek dodano kilka fotografii. W artykule przedstawiono także ocenę badań oraz sugestie dotyczące poprawy budowy różnych elementów konstrukcji samochodu.

The article was presented one of the interesting cars Mikrus produced in Poland. The prototype of this car was tested at the Institute of Road Transport, which allowed the preservation of interesting materials from the research. At the beginning of the article outlines the scope of research and methods. The following shows the selected design faults that occurred during the test car. Faults are presented in chronological order, taking into account the time of their occurrence and mileage of the vehicle at the time of the fault. To illustrate some of the faults were added a few photographs. The article presents an evaluation of the research and suggestions for improving the construction of the various elements of car design.

W artykule przedstawiono segment mikropojazdów. Omówiono genezę powstania tego typu konstrukcji w aspekcie ówczesnych uwarunkowań gospodarczych i zapotrzebowania społecznego. Przedstawiono tendencje rozwojowe tego typu pojazdów, jako alternatywnych środków transportu w obrębie dużych aglomeracji miejskich z uwagi na rosnące koszty paliwa, coraz ostrzejsze normy z zakresu ochrony środowiska, ograniczenia ruchu pojazdów w zatłoczonych centrach dużych miast oraz ewidentne braki miejsc parkingowych. Omówiono wymogi prawne z zakresu homologacji dotyczące dopuszczenia mikropojazdów do ruchu drogowego. Wskazano rodzaje kategorii praw jazdy uprawniających użytkownika do poruszania się po drogach tego typu pojazdami. Dokonano próby analizy zapotrzebowania rynku w aspekcie potencjalnych nabywców.

The article presents segment of microcars. Discusses the genesis of this type of construction in the context of contemporary economic conditions and demands of society. The paper presents the development trends of this type of vehicles, as alternative means of transport within large urban areas due to rising fuel costs, increasingly stringent standards of environmental protection, reduce traffic in congested city centers, and the evident failure of parking spaces. Discussed the legal requirements of the scope of approval for admission of microcars to the traffic. Specified types of driving license categories entitling the user to drive on roads this type of vehicles. There have been attempts to analyze the market demand in terms of potential buyers.

Niniejszy artykuł dotyczy współpracy pomiędzy prywatną Spółką APP i Instytutem Pojazdów Wydziału Samochodów i Maszyn Roboczych Politechniki Warszawskiej, mającej na celu opracowanie i wdrożenie do produkcji dwóch typów mikro pojazdów kategorii homologacyjnych L6e oraz L7e. W artykule przedstawiono zarys historii mikro pojazdów, wymagania stawiane tego typu konstrukcjom w eksploatacji wielkomiejskiej oraz koncepcję nowego opracowanego w ramach prowadzonej współpracy mikro pojazdu. Przedstawione w niniejszym artykule koncepcje pojazdów powinny w niedalekiej przyszłości trafić na Polskie drogi. Uruchomienie produkcji pojazdu kategorii L7e przewidywane jest w przeciągu 6-8 miesięcy, natomiast produkcja lżejszej wersji opracowanej w oparciu o przepisy kategorii L6e zostanie uruchomiona do 12 miesięcy.

This article concerns the cooperation between the private company APP and the Institute of Vehicles, Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering Warsaw University of Technology, aimed at developing and implementing the production of two types of micro vehicles of an official certification categories L6e and L7e. The article outlines the history of micro vehicles, requirements for this type of constructions in urban life and a new concept of micro vehicle developed in the cooperation course. Presented in this article vehicle concepts should, in the near future, hit on Polish roads. Starting the production vehicle category L7e is expected within 6-8 months, while the production of a lighter version developed based on the rules L6e category will be launched up to 12 months.
