The paper, presents the results of studies involving the recordings of a friction pair’s work made by a fast optical camera, and measuring the moment of friction. On this basis, an analysis of the kinematics of the rolling elements in the needle bearing was carried out, and the active zone of load transfer and determination of spin way of the associated components has been defined.
