The micro-biogas technologies using liquid manure, which eliminates harmful compounds for the environment and maintains high fertilizing parameters of digestate, are already available in Poland. The effectiveness of these technologies together with a summary of previous experience have been presented and discussed in this paper. The presented conclusions are based on analysis of dozen BIOLECTRIC® micro-scale biogas plants with installed power from 11 to 40 kWe working in Poland and more than one hundred and eighty of such installations in Europe. They overcome the paradigm of the lack of profitability of these installations in a microscale.

W artykule dokonano analizy rozwoju sektora biogazowni rolniczych na terenie Polski. Analiza dotyczyła tempa rozwoju instalacji na przełomie ostatnich kilku lat. Przedstawione zostało zestawione instalacji funkcjonujących w kraju do połowy 2015 roku. W zestawieniu przeanalizowano rozwój mikrobiogazowni, małych biogazowni, a także dużych instalacji. W opracowaniu przedstawiono również zalety jakie niesie za sobą rozwój rolniczych instalacji biogazowych. Scharakteryzowano wybrane aspekty społeczne, ekonomiczne, logistyczne oraz środowiskowe, które mają bezpośredni wpływ na budowę instalacji.

The article contains an analysis of development of the farm biogas plants sector in Poland. The analysis referred to the speed of growth of the system throughout the last several years. Herewith the systems working in the country until the middle of 2015 are presented. The comparison analyzes de-velopment of microbiogas plants, including small and big biogas systems. The article also contains development advantages of farm biogas plants. Selected social, economic, logistics and environmental aspects are analyzed, having direct impact on the system construction.

The article presents problems of biogas production in small biogas plants and the temperature influence on the anaerobic digestion. The examples of digesters structures and characteristic of substrates available in a household are discussed in the article.

W artykule omówiono podstawowe zagadnienia związane z pozyskiwaniem biogazu w małych, lokalnych biogazowniach. Przedstawiono przykładowe rozwiązania komór fermentacyjnych, scharakteryzowano substraty dostępne w gospodarstwie domowym do produkcji biogazu. Ponadto omówiono ograniczenia w funkcjonowaniu samoczynnych przydomowych mikrobiogazowni.
