From the very beginning of human history, human beings have been travelling in order to learn about the world around them. Therefore, they have always aimed to create conditions that would allow them to safely pursue their goals. With this end in view, people have been using certain independent objects that are referred to as systems of navigation marks. Today the Earth is too small for human beings who are seeking to explore the universe. This is why the activities of research centres are directed towards making interplanetary flights possible. A journey into space requires taking a new approach to determining the position of spacecraft in a 3D system, which also provides opportunities for introducing qualitative changes to marine navigation. However, although we live in a time of great technological advancement, we should not forget about past and present advances in marine navigation. This article takes a look at the past and present and discusses the future of navigation.

Od zarania dziejów ludzie podróżowali w celu poszerzenia wiedzy o otaczającym ich świecie. Naturalną konsekwencją tych działań, było stworzenie przez nich warunków do bezpiecznej żeglugi, co uzyskano między innymi dzięki systemowi oznakowania nawigacyjnego. Gdy Ziemia okazała się dla ludzi zbyt mała, zapragnęli oni odkrywać wszechświat. Dlatego też współczesne działania ośrodków badawczych, ukierunkowane zostały na loty międzyplanetarne. I choć podróż w kosmos wymaga nowego podejścia do określania pozycji statku kosmicznego – w systemie 3D, jego utworzenie otworzyłoby cały wachlarz nowych możliwości, a co za tym idzie zmian jakościowych także dla nawigacji morskiej. W artykule przedstawiono historię, stan obecny oraz perspektywy rozwoju nawigacji.

W artykule przedstawiono podstawowe zagadnienia oraz problemy związane z kodowym pozycjonowaniem różnicowym GPS+GLONASS. Wskazano największe ograniczenia oraz sposoby ich eliminacji a także zalety stosowania prezentowanej metody. Rozważania teoretyczne poparto wynikami sześciogodzinnego pomiaru opracowanego w trybie postprocessingu. Do obliczeń wykorzystano dane pobrane ze stacji referencyjnych systemu ASG-EUPOS. Badania wykazały, iż metoda pozycjonowania różnicowego GPS+GLONASS poprawia dokładność oraz stabilność wyznaczonych współrzędnych w porównaniu do pozycjonowania wykorzystującego jedynie system GPS. Nie eliminuje ona natomiast wpływu błędów systematycznych. Niemniej jednak zaprezentowane wyniki pozwalają na przeprowadzenie badań nad zastosowaniem prezentowanej metody w nawigacji, Systemach Informacji Geograficznej, czy też usługach lokalizacyjnych.

This paper presents the essential issues and problems associated with differential code GPS+GLONASS positioning. The major limitations and methods of their elimination are described, as well as the advantages resulting from the application of the presented method. Theoretical considerations were verified with the post-processed observations gathered during a six-hour measurement. The data from selected reference stations of the ASG-EUPOS system was used in the calculations. The examinations showed that the method of the differential GPS+GLONASS positioning allows to achieve higher accuracy and precision, as well as improves the stability of coordinate determination in the time domain, in comparison to the positioning that uses only GPS system. However it does not eliminates influence of the systematic errors. Nevertheless, presented results allow to conduct research on application of this method in a navigation, Geographic Information Systems or localization services.

The problem of assembly line balancing is extremely important for apparel companies. It indicates the necessity of a well-balanced assembly line since the process of the production of clothes is complicated and it consists of many processes. A well-balanced assembly line enables to produce a product in an optimum time, as a result of which it allows to use fewer machines as well as less material and labour during this production. In this article, studies performed on assembly line balancing were theoretically analysed, and then a time study of T-shirt production with respect to assembly line balancing was performed and data needed for assembly line balancing acquired. In parallel to these data obtained, firstly assembly line balancing was applied using 5 different heuristic methods, and then the assembly line was balanced using the classical method. The results of the solutions for the assembly line are compared. The aim of this study was to establish the assembly lines which have the highest line efficiency and to research the applicability of the methods examined in readyto-wear assembly lines.

Problem równoważenia linii produkcyjnych jest niezwykle ważny dla odzieżowych zakładów produkcyjnych. Istnieje potrzeba balansowania linii produkcyjnej ponieważ produkcja odzieży jest bardzo skomplikowana i składa się z wielu procesów. Dobrze zrównoważona linia produkcyjna pozwala zrealizować produkt w optymalnym czasie przy zastosowaniu mniejszej ilości maszyn, mniejszej ilości materiałów oraz mniejszego nakładu pracy podczas produkcji. W artykule przeanalizowano proces teoretycznie, a następnie przeprowadzono analizę produkcji podkoszulek. Celem badania było ustawienie linii produkcyjnej o najwyższej wydajności i zbadanie możliwości zastosowania przedstawionej metody do produkcji gotowej odzieży.

W pracy przedstawiono podstawowe zagadnienia dotyczące procesu pozycjonowania stron internetowych. Opisane metody pozycjonowania stron zastosowano w praktycznej realizacji oraz poddano weryfikacji. Wyniki badań wskazują na wysoką skuteczność prostych metod pozycjonowania na ranking w wynikach wyszukiwarek, co znacznie poprawia szybkość wyszukiwania informacji.

The aim of this thesis is to present issues connected with web positioning, searching information on the Internet and implementation of web positioning. Methods of web positioning, description of a practical realization of a web page and verification of search results of a positioned website are presented in this work.
