The article describes the analysis selected methods of calculation of the spacing and crack opening. An experimental veryfication in a sphere crack spacing has been carried aut on the basias of the author's research results. Two grade of aggregate: basaltic and carbonateic have been considered. The results prove a significant effect of grade aggregate as well as concrete curing conditions on the spacing s and crack opening w. The analysis of the calculation methods has shored the values proved by the research are closest to the standards and Kuczyński-Goszczyński methods. These, however, aren't universals methods because technological influence has not been taken into consideration.
