Wytrzymałość na - jednoosiowe - rozciąganie jest jedną z podstawowych stałych opisujących własności materiału skalnego. W przypadku prób rozciągania bezpośredniego pojawiają się duże trudności związane zarówno z przygotowaniem, jak i zamocowaniem próbek, dlatego w praktyce stosuje się różne pośrednie metody oznaczenia wytrzymałości skał na rozciąganie. W artykule opisano metody wyznaczania wytrzymałości na rozciąganie najczęściej stosowane i stosunkowo łatwe do przeprowadzenia.

The resistance against - single axial - expansion is one of the basic constants describing prosperities of rock materials. In case of a direct expansion great difficulties occur connected both with preparation and fastening of samples and therefore in practice various indirect methods are used for determination of rocks resistance to expansion. This article describes methods of determination of resistance to expansion that are most often used and are comparatively easy for their conductance.

W artykule przedstawiono metody oznaczania toksycznych składników (tlenku węgla i tlenków azotu) w gazach postrzałowych MW stosowanych w krajach europejskich w odniesieniu do propozycji zawartych w normie EN 13631-16:2004. Przedstawiono wymagania stawiane badanym MW przeznaczonym do stosowania w górnictwie podziemnym w różnych krajach.

The methods of determination of the toxic components (karbon monoxide and nitric oxides) in blasting fumes of explosives used in European countries with reference to the proposals included in the standard EN-13631-16:2004 are presented. The requirements applying to tested explosives designed for the use in mining in various countries are presented.

A possibility of an automation of a gravity meter coefficient determination by two methods is discussed in the paper. The first one, more frequently applied is the methodusing gravity calibration baselines. The second one is the tilt method. This method can be applied in the laboratory. The software CECH5 was prepared at the institute of Geodesy and Geodetic Astronomy WUT operating on PSION ORGANISER microcomputer. The automation of both calibration methods was done. This software provides, besides registration of readings, field data processing computation of tidal corrections, drift and altitude evaluations. Field experiments confirmed the efficiency of the procedures and obtained precision.
