The article presents a method of critical chain applied in the operative programme of logistics project executed in conditions of uncertainty of constituent tasks execution time. Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) is a method which originates from the theory of constraints (TOC), according to which critical chain is correctly identified constitutes a specific constraint for the project. The programme under analysis determines critical chain, locations and sizes of time buffers, which as a result allowed obtaining a new, shorter project execution time, at approximate level of chance for meeting the declared execution deadline.
