W artykule zaprezentowano krótką historię (2001-2006) prowadzenia badań diagnostycznych izolacji silników elektrycznych średniego napięcia metodą napięcia stałego. Przedstawiono wyniki badań i ich wpływ na ograniczenie remontów; tendencje zmian w silnikach pracujących w dość trudnych warunkach eksploatacji.

The article presents the short history (2001-2006) of carrying out diagnostic testing of insulation of middle voltage electric motors with utilizing constant voltage method. The paper presents the results of these diagnostic testing, and its influence on reduction of overhauls. There are showed trends in changes in electric motors, which are operating in hard working conditions.

In majority of factories like cement mills, electric motors working there are subject to a considerable influence of weather conditions due to their location. A significant number of those machines are placed in the open air, and in some mills, in the period of increased air humidity, from November to March, the factory delays production and the planned repairs of production lines are implemented. In this period diagnostic tests of electrical machines are also carried out. Some of the tested motors have built-in heating systems what limits the soaking of the windings insulation, whereas others have no such heating systems and that is reflected in the received results. The article presents a short history (2001-2007) of conducting diagnostic tests of insulation of medium voltage electric motors with the DC voltage method. The results of the tests and their influence on limiting repairs as well as tendencies of changes in motors working in fairly difficult exploiting conditions are presented.

The article presents short history (2001-2006) of diagnostic of insulation using dc-voltage method. The diagnostic was made on the middle voltage AC-motors. The paper describes method of DC-voltage and shows criterion of estimation. The paper presents results of diagnostics and trends of changes proseed in insulation of mantiend motors for e few years. Authors shows that is possible to predict the damage of the motor and reduce the costs of repairs.

W arykule przedstawiono diagnostykę maszyn elektrycznych w przemyśle ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem górnictwa w zakresie oceny stanu technicznego układu elektroizolacyjnego uzwojeń maszyn elektrycznych prądu stałego i przemiennego. Omówiono metodykę badania rezystancji izolacji uzwojeń metodą napięcia stałego. Przedstawiono wybrane wyniki badań maszyn elektrycznych prądu stałego,przemiennego i zasilanych z przemienników częstotliwości.

In the article presented is a diagnosis of electric-powered industrial machinery with a special attention paid to the mining industry as regards the assessment of the technical condition of the electric insulation system of DC and AC electric machinery windings. Discussed is the methodo-logy of testing the resistance of winding insulation with a constant voltage method. Presented are selected results of testing the DC and AC electric machines, and those supplied with power from frequency converters.
