The work presents the assessment of occupational risk using the Risk Score method for the position of a policeman from the Patrol and Intervention Link. A policeman in this position often works in conditions that are not only hazardous to health, but also to life. It patrols streets, buildings, etc. and participates in many interventions. Therefore, it seems important to raise the topic of occupational risk in such a position. By assessing occupational risk using the Risk Score method, threats were identified with the highest risk and activities that may reduce this risk have been indicated.

The subject of this study is a preliminary risk analysis during travel by the low pressure railway Hyperloop. The main objective was to formulate recommendations related to the development of the project of the new transport mode. The main analysis was preceded by the identification of Man – Machine - Environment system. Undesirable events were identified for each of the specified steps of a ride. For each event, a risk assessment was performed using Risk Score based method. The causes, effects and preventive actions were also listed. Events with the highest risk score were indicated. The need to develop procedures for safety checks and emergency situations was pointed out. It was shown that the safety analysis of the transport system should be extended after a final project development of the railway system and the necessary infrastructure.

Tematem niniejszej publikacji jest wstępna analiza ryzyka podczas podróży koleją niskociśnieniową Hyperloop. Głównym celem było sformułowanie zaleceń związanych z rozwojem projektu nowego środka transportu. Właściwą analizę poprzedzono identyfikacją systemu człowiek – technika – otoczenie, zidentyfikowano zdarzenia niepożądane dla każdego z wyszczególnionych etapów podróży. Dla każdego zdarzenia dokonano oceny ryzyka z wykorzystaniem metody zbliżonej do Risk Score. Wyszczególniono także przyczyny, skutki oraz działania zapobiegawcze. Wskazano zdarzenia o najwyższym wskaźniku ryzyka. Zwrócono uwagę na konieczność opracowania procedur dotyczących kontroli bezpieczeństwa oraz wystąpienia sytuacji awaryjnych. Wykazano, że analiza bezpieczeństwa omawianego systemu transportowego powinna być rozszerzona po opracowaniu szczegółowego projektu kolei i niezbędnej infrastruktury.

Artykuł jest emanacją toczącego się procesu wzmacniania nauk społecznych przez metody implementowane z nauk mających większe związki z naukami technicznymi oraz matematycznymi. Analiza konfliktu zbrojnego (na przykładzie starć w Donbasie) oraz zarządzanie nim zostały oparte na metodzie Risk Score oraz jej ewaluacji za sprawą wprowadzenia macierzy SWOT. Wnioski z niniejszej pracy mają w zamyśle autora wzbogacać metodologię nauk o bezpieczeństwie dzięki pokazaniu użyteczności metod cenionych w katalogu narzędzi nauk o zarządzaniu.

The article is an expression of the ongoing process of curing the social sciences with methods implemented from sciences that have links with technical and mathematical sciences. The management and analysis of the risk of armed conflict with the example of clashes in the Donbas was based on the Risk Score method and its evaluation by introducing the SWOT matrix. The conclusions, which will be the result of the work, are intended by the author to enrich the methodology of security studies by showing the usefulness of methods known from of management studies tools.

The article presents the been reviewed most frequently used methods of risk assessment. They have been analyzed coefficients used in various methods of paying attention to the rules for their designation. Also important was the way we defined risk index and the rules of its interpretation in the various methods.

W artykule przedstawiono przeglądowo najczęściej stosowane metody oceny ryzyka zawodowego. Analizie poddane zostały współczynniki stosowane w poszczególnych metodach ze zwróceniem uwagi na zasady ich wyznaczania. Istotnym był także sposób w jaki określa się wskaźnik ryzyka oraz zasady jego interpretacji w poszczególnych metodach.

The paper demonstrates the usefulness of the Risk Score method for risk management at professional grinding stations, taking into account the nature of the station's operations. The adoption of consistent processes within a comprehensive framework helps to ensure that risk is managed efectively, eficiently and coherently across the organization. The approach described in this paper introduces the principles and guidelines for managing safety risk in an orderly, transparent and credible manner. The aim of the present study is to reduce occupational hazard at grinding stations.
