Zbadano możliwość zastosowania metod: ICP i AAS do oznaczania metali ciężkich w wybranych wyrobach papierniczych produkowanych w Warszawskich Zakładach Celulozowo-Papierniczych Konstancin-Jeziorna SA, tzn. pergaminach i papierach (do pisania, toaletowym i pakowym) oraz w surowcach, czyli w makulaturze i w wodzie, gdyż mają one także istotny wpływ na zawartość zanieczyszczeń w końcowym produkcie. Badania przeprowadzono wstępne metodami zalecanymi przez Polskie Normy, a następnie -w tych samych próbkach makulatury i papierów oznaczano metodą płomieniowej absorpcji atomowej zawartość metali ciężkich w Laboratorium Chemicznym Państwowego Instytutu Geologicznego, gdzie metodą indukcyjnie sprzężonej plazmy badanotakże zawartość tych metali w wodzie stosowanej w procesie technologicznym podczas wytwarzania papieru.

The possibilities have been tested of using the ICP and AAS methods for the determination of the heavy metals contents in the selected products being manufactured in the Warsaw Paper Mili in Konstancin - Jeziorna SA i.e. in parchment paper and in other papers (writing, toilet and wrapping papers) as well as in raw materials, thus in waste paper and and in water as they have a significant effect on the content of impurities in the finał product. The preliminary tests have been carried out using the methods that are recommended in the Polish Standards and then in the same samples of the waste paper and papers the heavy metal contents has been determined using the flame atomic absorption method in the Chemical Laboratory of the State Geological Institute, where using the method of inductive coupled plasme the content of these metals has been aisom determined in water being used in the technological process of paper making.
