Most often used classification methods regarding technical condiction of civil structures, focused exclusively on technical criteria. Moreover there are no accurate directives on disposing the objects representing determined technical condition. It seems that there is an undoubted need to establish a system that takes into consideration not only very important technical aspects, but also the economic profitability of the project as an integral element. To create such system there has to be choosen a tool which represent examined issue the best way. The article presents basic evaluation criteria. There was also conducted a comparative analysis of algorithms in terms of their usefulness for the multicriteria method of classification of civil structures depending on their technical condition. The conducted analysis shows that the majority of connected problems with the analysed theme solves the support vector machine application.
