The work proposes a dynamic model of an end-effector driven with pneumatic muscles and the method of identification of its parameters. This study deals with the identification of a specially designed end-effector driven by Festo pneumatic muscles. The method of identification applied in this analysis involves fine-tuning of the inverse model. The method can be used only for such values of the input signals that are determined from the measurement data. Identifying a dynamic system by means of the input error method requires looking for a model that generates the same input as the plant. The identification was performed using specially developed differentiating filters. The identification method employed in this study requires determining appropriate derivatives only. There is no need to solve differential equations. The identification method and its generalizations using the plant inverse model require information on the time derivatives of the input and output signals. The derivative order depends on the order of differential equations describing the plant.
